Greame Fowler - Well in the last few moments we have had some great bowling by Louw. Firstly He got one just to creep through the bat and pad of Sarvesh Mali. The pitch is already showing signs of un-even bounce and is a bit two paced.

It got Mali on high alert and Nic Davies came down to talk to Mali before the next ball. He got off the strike and now it was the turn of Davies to face the brilliant and fiery Louw. Louw bowled a beautiful disseving slower ball yorker. Davies went forward to defend but the ball sneaked under he bat and Middlesex and Louw had their first wicket of the season. Davies walked back wondering what had just happened and didn't look too pleased as he went into the dressing room.

Lets take a look at the wicket!

I really like the range of effects used on the screenshots Trev; The animation looks pretty neat too.

yeah completely agreed!

Excellent presentation Trev :clap

Very unfortunate loss of an early wicket! We have to bounce back well now! :)

Graeme Fowler - Well a great period of batting by Sarvesh Mali and Suren after the wicket off Nic Davies bowled by Louw for just 1. Suren started off positivley against Chaminda Vaas with a four over the infield and down to the 3rd Man boundary.

Then Very Next ball he dispatched a low full toss from Vaas past mid on for four again!

Suren just couldn't stop and in the very next Vaas over he drilled him down the ground for four.

Ed Smith introduced Murali Kartik into the attack and imediatley was recieved by a glorious sweep by Mali that went for four down at the square leg boundary.

But 2 Overs later Kartik had an appeal of caught behind off Suren but the replay clearly shows that the ball hit his arm. Umpire Niel Mallender said "Not Out."

Middlesex will need a breakthrough soon as this partnership is begining to build!

C'mon Suren! You've come in and done exactly what was needed! Let you and Mali get a big partnership.

Great presentation Trev!

A nice steady start. Hopefully Surrendar and Mali can continue with this and put Middlesex under some pressure.

Really liked the animation Trev :)

Keep it up mate. Nice presentation so far. PC are counting on you

Suren and Mali can get a good partnership going here. Good recovery so far, keep up the great presentation.

Graeme Fowler - Well so far it's been a great battle between the three Middlesex bowlers and the three Planet Cricket batsman! Louw got the better of Davies after only 5 runs were up on the board and now, after the drinks break, Suren and Mali have got the better of Vaas and Kartik with brilliant power and placement. Lets take a look at some shots so far from today's match...

But just in the last few overs, Louw and Vaas have got on top of them with some great swing and pace.
