PlanetCricket Tour: Tour of Bangladesh - Stats

Congratulations Matt. :clap

Great stuff from Matt there, very well done with that double-ton. We look in a very good position atm, hopefully we can continue with this.

Start of Day 4

Start of the day, Anamul Haque dragged his side out of trouble with an impressive 72 from 112 before becoming @Jack Ryder Ryder's victim in the 31st over. Bangladesh subsequently closed on 143 for three at lunch.

Bangladeshi batsman Mominul Haque gave Anamul Haque good support in a stand of 68 for the second wicket before he was given LBW from @Matt121 Coldhill that left him off the pitch.

It took Razzak 19 balls to get off the mark by clipping Lee through square-leg, with progress steady as Bangladesh reached 228 for five at tea.

Rahim moved up a gear at the start of the long evening session, forcing Coldhill off the back foot for four and cover driving Lee to the fence to reach his half-century from 71 balls.

The stand with Shakib moved into three figures but, shortly afterwards, @vaibhav Tewatia claimed a deserved breakthrough, Gazi pushing hard but was given LBW by the umpire off @Jack Ryder Ryder.

Bangladesh went into the final session aiming to establish a lead of at least 250, according to skipper Saikat Ali, and put us under a bit of pressure.

Yet those hopes rapidly disappeared as @RPHKR Pu Lee induced a remarkable collapse which saw the remaining five wickets tumble inside 47 minutes of the evening session.

Lee struck with the second over after tea when Razzak chased a wide delivery and edged it onto this stumps. @ThebigGgamer Singh took an important wicket of Rahim to take control of the match.

Matt makes perfect start

Bangladesh were in a good position, leading by 100 runs on resuming at 228 for five, and in just short of two-and-a-half hours they were dismissed for 270 - PlanetCricket need 116 more runs to win

Varun @Varun marginally became a party-pooper with an unbeaten 65 against his opener but 25 minutes after lunch Yash @yashdude101 was last man out - bowled by Razzak which gripped and spinned.

Coach Graham Gooch said "There have been lots of really good individual performances in the match. In this one. This was a really good all round performance by us, We were pretty focussed and absorbed on what our target was for this game and we have carried it well. It was a very good result for us"

Captain Dipak "I don't want to single out anyone although there were some very good individual performances, but to win against Bangladesh and turn around some of our performances of the past into a result like this just shows what we are capable of."

Delighted to see a victory there! lee was just too good for their batters and we chased the target in no pressure. Overall everyone played great but Coldhill was something better than that. :thumbs

Any chance we could get detailed statistics? As in fours and sixes for batsmen, and maidens for bowlers?

A great victory there, feels great to pick up a big wicket of a player who was on his 90's, which later turned out to be the turning point of the Bangladesh knock.
Matt played out of his skin that game and rightfully so he was the man of the match.

What do you think of the presentation guys? Wanted to know some feedback for how I can improve it.

Any chance we could get detailed statistics? As in fours and sixes for batsmen, and maidens for bowlers?

Sure. Will do that.
