Two overs later in the morning session, Robiul Islam could only pickup odd singles and twos. Tewatia and Lee, bowling better at the start of the day, had Shahadt Hossain lbw before Robiul Islam bowled Tewatia.
Bangladesh seamer Robiul Islam took a wicket with his third ball to dismiss PlanetCricket opener Yash Raj @yashdude101, who was caught behind for nought. @Varun Varun was second out at 44 in the 17th over when Gazi pushed one across him and clipped flat-footedly to midwicket who made 22 from 46 balls.
Bangladesh broke through again at 82 in the 32nd over, with Rahim taking a second catch. This time Shakib Al Hasan, extracting spin and bounce, found the edge of @Aggz Agger's tentative bat.
@The Author Bowden had watched all this from the other end as he compiled a patient 21 from 54 balls. But then he was too slow coming down on a rapid yorker from Sohag Gazi and was bowled.
Gazi struck again in his next spell, the 54th, when @ThebigGgamer Singh who had scored 8, clipped his last ball straight to Iqbal at square-leg.
We are struggling at 137 for five before the tea interval.
After the break, @Matt121 Coldhill and @Simon Kerrigan looked in little confortable against pace and seam fifty partnership for the sixth wicket.
Razzak got a ball which bounced and it brought him reward when Kerrigan edged to first slip after putting on 52 for the sixth wicket with Coldhill.
However, Coldhill and captain @Dipak Dipak batted positively against a tiring attack with Coldhill reaching first half-century on his debut, from 105 balls with just a couple of fours, while Dipak is 30 not out.
This is some very good batting by Coldhill and well supported by Aggz. If the current pair with the help of tailenders could gather a a few more runs, it'll give our bowling unit a bit of relief. Day 3 is certainly going to be a decider!
Dark day for me, dropped a crucial catch and out for a duck. Nothing worse than this. Anyway, we're going fine now and I hope our batsmen could stick there for a longer time and give us a better lead.
PlanetCricket batsman Matthew Coldhill @Matt121 found vintage form on the third day of test match at Chittagong as he plundered his first century on debut and helped the team to set a lead. We continued to prosper and @Dipak Dipak went to his half-century off 101 balls with just a four, having helped to add 135 in 49 overs with Coldhill.
Coldhill showed few signs of nervousness as he entered the nineties and charged into three figures by taking a step down the pitch and on-driving Razzak for three runs.
