Start of Day 1​

@Varun Varun and his surprising opening partner @Anirudh. Anirudh put on 87 after PlanetCricket elected to bat first. The Bangladeshi captain Ali, who clearly thought there would be some early help for his spinners on a pitch tinged with green.

Anirudh made a solid 52 with Varun making 34 from 73 balls. Varun was fortunate to be dropped on three, by the keeper Rahim going to his left as he edged a ball angled across him by spinner Razzak.​

Solid start. Openers se setting the platform for a big score, hope the stand passes 100.

A great start there from the lads, Anirudh not failing to impress at all, just sending the message why he should be in the starting XI, be scared Umair be very scared @Umair2000. One question how exactly did he get injured?
Rustagi on the other hand, just playing on quietly and gently and that is what can get you high scores, I really hope we can build on this great start.

Oh, sorry for that. Anyway, that's a great start provided by Anirudh and Varun.

@Anirudh. Anirudh otherwise looked in total control as Bangladeshi bowlers struggled to make an impact. He was dropped on 90 when he cut hard at Razzak and saw Tamim Iqbal fail to cling on at slip as he dived to his left.

@Varun Varun brought up his second half-century off 120 balls with a boundary off Shakib and used up only 18 further deliveries in reaching 20.

Not even nine overs to tea, Shakib took the wicket of Varun which break an excellent stand off 155. Matthew Coldhill @Matt121 who was impressive in the first test, was out when he smacked a Razzak's full toss, straight to Hossain at point for 5 runs.​

BTW I think thats a great start.Hope that this start reaches a huge score and we keep going on with this momentum.Thats a great effort by Varun staying there and putting up runs on the board.

That was a sweet surprise.A ton on debut.Although disappoonted that Matt got out cheaply.He couldve added on more,provided his simulation avatar was in great form last match.That was a good knock by Varun too.

Good to see Kerrigan and Agger on the crease.Hope they take command of the situation and set the Bangladeshis a good score
