Press release from unphased Middlesborough manager

The first 9 games this season have not quite gone our way. However it can be said we should have won some of the games we have drawn and thus would not be in the predicament we are in right now.

We aim to kick of a winning streak this weekend against the current leaders Man U and we aim to do it in style! Expect flair, pace, tenasity, grit and a whole lot of goals!!

There is no doubt this team can achieve great things, and it will do so very soon!

Can anyone catch Manchester United?

sfnbol30.jpg

Wayne Rooney has been key to Man Utd's success with 9 goals in 9 games so far

Leicester Fox's Manchester United have been in immense form this season and know the Premier League title is now theirs to lose.

United turned their winning streak into 9 games with a comfortable 3-0 victory over bottom-of-the-table Aston Villa at Villa Park on Monday.

This Sunday they take on third-from-bottom Middlesbrough and, despite big words from boss Jdeus, should not have too much trouble in extending their 100% record to 10 games.

A much tougher task will come a weak later however, in a titanic battle with second placed Arsenal.

It's been plain sailing so far, but now it gets tough for United... could we see their first defeat of the season in the next fortnight?

Game of the week: Everton 0-2 Liverpool

A heated Merseyside derby saw two first half goals from captain Steven Gerrard decide which side of the city has bragging rights for the next few months.

Next week's game of the week: Liverpool vs Arsenal
