Player Editor

where u get HEX workshop
and would some1 plz explain how to do it?

first google it :) second just play if ya know hex and how to use it you will figure it out :D

i havn't had a look but if someone wants to explain it they will

Don't woory, I am about half way through the teams.

I have Sri Lanka, USA, New Zealand, WI, Pakistand and Zimbabwe left.

I will upload it.

To get it to work you must delete your game profile unfortunately for the names to work, but faces should be fine.

Nearly done.

(EDIT)

Ok, I have attached a bag file with names and faces done for all the editable teams (does not include world XI's etc yet).

To use it, put it in your ?:\Program Files\Codemasters\Brian Lara International Cricket 2005\Data\GUI

To get all the name changes you need to delete your current profile and make a new one.

what exactly did you edit? bowler speeds? player names? player faces? anything worth editing?

Top stuff Jace. It's nice seeing Andy Symonds with dark skin :). I'll be having a tinker around with these files in the next few days, will let you guys know if I make any breakthroughs.

Thats a great edit, cheers. Here is Matthew Hoggard in a Test, wearing witchkings excellent kit.
Also, does this mean that eventually, players in the WC2003 squad could be added to the test squad i.e Gary Kirsten, Nasser Hussain, for retro action. :upray

good work people...post some more edits! lets get Brain Lara cricket as real as possible

It seems possible to replace players. I have put Kasprowicz and Watson in the aussie test team in place of Lehmann and Bichel.

Good work m8y!

Do you think a dummy friendly version of an Editor could be made for..well...us dummies?

Cheers

p.s. Is it possible to make faces like Ian Bell and Chris Tremlett etc.??

Ok I've had a bit of a play around and have some confirmed byte values and quite a few more for which I have a hunch but just haven't got around to testing. Here are the confirmed values.

Code:
Number of bytes after Date of Birth Function
11 Overall batting - Test
12 Overall batting - ODI
13 Overall bowling - Test
14 Overall bowling - ODI
15 Overall fielding - Test
16 Overall fielding - ODI
25 Batting Loft - ODI
26 Batting Loft - Test
28 Batting Defence - Test and ODI

I'm off to bed now so any queries will have to wait.:sleep

Editing the Created players may be the easiest way to crack values. They are stored in the Game Profile file in the save folder.
