Jayasuriya: True gent, in every manner and a fantastic player.
Strauss: Some say he is boring, I just find him a more reserved type of guy, nothing wrong with that.
Tendulkar: True ambassador of the game. Quality, and legend sum him up.
KP: Can be a bit of a tool at times, but still a fantastic player.
Chanderpaul: Awesome batsman, and not arrogant like other batsmen are in cricket
Sangakarra: Class keeper and another top bloke.
Smith: He does look pretty cool :p
Warne: Was an absolute legend, great spin bowler.
Johnson: Very good bowler who has potential with the bat. Seems like a pretty decent guy (strange for an Aussie :p)
Broad: The baby of the team :p Bags of potential, becoming a class bowler
Nel: Does the guy want to be any more of a legend? I love watching him bowl and the verbal exchanges with the batsman.

Dislike XI

G. Smith: Wow, this guy annoys me. I don't know what it is, his whole persona winds me up.
McKenzie: He is just utter rubbish.
Ponting: Arrogant fool who doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut. Because of him I will always enjoy seeing Australia lose.
Bell: Useless, one of the few good decisions by the England selectors, in dropping him.
Yuvraj: So overated, it is unbelieavble. He is rubbish in tests, a slogger and only good in ODI's.
Symonds: You went fishing over international cricket. Sums his mentality up.
Akmal: I struggled for a keeper and decided on Akmal. Don't mind the guy, just think he is a pretty poor batsman.
Harbhajan Singh: OMG, another utter tool, hate him almost as much as Yuvraj. Class bowler, but a racist and an absolute idiot.
Powell: Rubbish. Sums him up.
Bollinger: He actually still manages to look like a convict. Also he was giving way too much back chat to the umpires the only time I saw him.
Harmison: Given way too many chances, but it has been proven he just doesn't have the right mind for international cricket

Because his a tool. Fair enough if he actually acchieved something in cricket but I don't respect bowlers that sledge batsman that are way better them.

Even in International cricketers thinks his a tool. Kevin Pietersen made Zaheer look like an absolute muppet when he threw a jellybean at him and the way that Zaheer reacted was laughable.

Why would you want to throw a jellybean at a tailender anyways? Just shows their desperation, I guess.

I wouldn't consider many batsman way better than Zaheer Khan either. He's in the top tier of bowlers today.

11. Brad Williams

:happy Great topic, and loving a reference to the blink and you'll miss career of Brad Williams. Yeah come to think of it something always irked me about him too. Anyway...

Like XI (made it an ODI XI since I don't really like any Test openers):
Made a self imposed limit of 6 Aussies in my XII...

1. Sachin Tendulkar - Seems very humble and must have to put up with hell in India due to fame. Also is a very attractive (and successful) batsman.
2. Adam Gilchrist - Entertaining batsman. Honest and generous bloke.
3. Jesse Ryder - We need more 'solid' cricketers. I was tempted to put Dwayne Leverock in the squad too :p
4. Jacques Kallis - The ultimate professional. Does his jobs (all 3 of them-batting,bowling,fielding) really well without fanfare or fuss. Has a nice looking technique too which always draws me to a batsman.
5. Michael Clarke - Bats in a similar style to me :D
6. A.B. De Villiers - Humble guy but driven to be the best. Awesome fielder.
7. Shane Watson - Became a favourite of mine almost through sympathy. He always gets bagged. Why? Because of INJURIES. Geez it's not the guys fault, he works his butt off...And he is constantly shafted by selectors who want the decidely average Andrew Symonds. Love Watson's batting technique too.
8. Mitchell Johnson - Bowls in a similar style to me :D
9. Sohail Tanvir - Love watching him bowl, great action :p
10. Shane Warne - Now I can watch cricket and read at the same time, never used to be able to do that with Warney bowling - too much drama.
11. Brett Lee - Top bloke, very classy off the field (and on it 99% of the time) and bowls fast which is cool. Valuable contributor with bat and in field too which shows good commitment.
12. Danny Vettori - Seems a cool bloke, been carrying NZ attack for ages and nevers backs down as captain, batsman, bowler or fielder.

Dislike XI:
1. Gautam Gambhir - Don't like the bowler, why not elbow him on the way past...
2. Kamran Akmal - Has bad teeth :D...Yeah I dunno I like all the keepers at present
3. Yuvraj Singh - Just doesn't seem to care much and most of the time that really annoys me with a player (except Mark Waugh). Also has been wickedly overrated, slowly showing he's deserved some of that, but it's taken a LONG time.
4. Kevin Pietersen - Thinks he's God's gift...
5. Mohammad Ashraful - So frustrating to watch. Has heaps of talent, yet ALWAYS throws his wicket away.
6. J.P. Duminy - Way too much smoke being blown up this kids rear end at the moment. He seems decent, but he's not THAT good.
7. Andrew Symonds - It's not even his off the field stuff that I care about, it's the constant fawning of commentators and fans over possibly the luckiest and most overrated Australian player of his generation. Ended up being a decent ODI batsmen after 10 years trying, that's it. Never a good Test batsmen, never a good bowler in either form. He's spent most of his career as a specialist fielder.
8. Andrew Hall - Just something about him that annoys me.
9. Harbhajan Singh - Tool...
10. Ishant Sharma - Ugly as anything and has shown glimpses of becoming an arrogant twat
11. Monty Panesar - Too much appealing bro
12. Muttiah Muralitharan - Nothing against the man, but I really don't like seeing him bowl. It just looks wrong.

I presume your Like XI is KKDx11.

Maestro how come the hate for Bravo?

Don't hate him fella. I find it annoying that his batting hasn't progressed as much as his bowling, I had a bet with a close mate that this dude would be > Flintoff :spy. Didn't quite work out, maybe I had too high expectations :p

He has to be picked twice to give him a chance of making any runs. When he comes off he's awesome, but just doesn't happen often. I'd pick a top 6 consisting of 5 Warner's for T20 plus Gayle, with Napier at 7. Gives Warner a chance to make a big score, and if all 5 Warner's fail, which is a distinct possiblity, Napes and Gayle will smack big runs themselves. It's a flawless plan. As for the bowling, Napes, Gayle, Geeves and Wooster would do the job.
