From what I've read, the 3D effect differs from person to person. I won't buy one but I'd like to give it a try see what the fuss is about.

If you're referring to Pokemon Vortex, you can catch all the starter in the wild so it doesn't really matter which one you pick. I went for Charmander as well just for Charizard. Pretty sure that's what everyone else does.

Just find any legendary pokemon

Been looking in the fire maps for ages and got every normal pokemon that can be found there and a fair few of the other types (Ancient, Dark etc. including a Shiny Charmander which I can't be bothered training up )

Caught my first high level pokemon with a lvl 73 Weavile

I finally caught a legendary. While trying to bloody catch a Squirtle, I came across Kyogre on lvl 75..

Still haven't found that Squirtle though (Trying to get Charizard, Venosaur and Blastoise ) but Kyogre is good enough.

I managed to grab all obtainable normal Pokemon. I have to admit it's pretty sad.

Yeah, I'm pretty bored of this already after spending most of my day on the game

I still feel like playing pokemon but it will be pretty sad asking my little bro for my DS back so I can play pokemon again. Any other online games worth playing?

Pokemon mafia's got me back into wanting to play a quick game of something Pokemon.

I was playing FireRed and the gameboy trading card game over Christmas, so I might have a quick go on one of them over the next week.

As gay as it sounds the trading card game is good for a game or two every now and then, just to relive some old memories, and relive all the money I spend on them. (I've got the first three sets all complete IIRC)

As I've said before I'm not really fan post first generation, I can stand second, but after that not really.

I think your Pokedex only counts Pokemon you currently have on hand. If you release or trade that normal Garchomp, it won't count it as being caught.
