Butterfree and Callum (Pidgey) both help defeat Brock, the first gym leader.

Callum is level 14, 4 levels away from evolving into Pidgeotto.

Other pokemon in my party:

Pikachu - lvl 13
Butterfree - lvl 10
Rattata - lvl 7
Nidoran F - lvl 6
Mankey - lvl 5

Well for now, I'm just training my Pikachu up until he learns Slam at least as his only attacking move is now Quick Attack

Don't you have to confirm twice that want to replace a move for another?

It's not like Pikachu would be very helpful in Mount Moon anyway

@Iridium, I'm not sure if you did in Yellow

But the next gym leader is water

And no, you don't have to confirm. I wasn't paying attention and just pressed it before realising I got rid of Thundershock.

You should have Bulbasaur by then anyway. And Pikachu learns Thunderbolt at lvl 26 iirc so you'll just have to wait until then :P

Yeah, a long way away still for lvl 26. And yeah, you get Bulbasaur just before.

Callum has evolved into Pidgeotto now. Still waiting for him to learn a flying move though.

Wing Attack at like lvl 21 I think is his first. Because gust isn't a flying move in generation 1

Yeah, I know. Neither is Whirlwind.

It says wing attack at lvl 31 is his first, while if I kept Pidgey, it would have been lvl 28. But Pidgeotto is better still

████, I hate critical hits. Encountered a Clefairy and was going to hit him one more time with tackle to put him on close to red health but it was a critical hit and killed him

And I tought Pikachu Mega Punch.
