Ashamed to admit that I played through Black the other day, but on the PC
I've only played yellow, so was surprised to see there's like 650, or 750? pokemon now.

My team for beating the final 4 was:
Servine
Sawk
Blitzle
Seismetoad
Unfezant
Liepard

Dropped Liepard for the legendary dragon one. It was pretty easy and only spent a short time grinding everyone up to level 50, while my Sawk was ~63.

BTW, how did you catch such high level Pokemon? Do they just show up randomly?

Step 1: Beat the Elite 4 and all the gyms.
Step 2: Waste hours of your life scouring through the maps. I usually wait maybe 20 minutes to find one, and I stop immediately once I find one.

That's the deal with legends, but I'm not sure about normal high level Pokemon, I'm sure those appear anyway.

Yea after I posted that I got a Lv88 Ivysaur. I've only managed to encounter and catch just one legendary: a Dark Cresselia.

Sometimes that site runs real slow for me.

Caught a wild Charmeleon, level 78. I've evolved it into Charizard and put it up for trade. Maybe one of you are interested?

Yeah, my problem is I imagine most people do as I suppose Charmander would most likely be the most popular starter.

It doesn't really matter what you pick considering you can catch them all in the wild.
