I'd like to start with a question to fellow Pakistanis : who will you vote for in 2018 and why? I'd vote for PTI, because i think it's clear that PPP and PMLN just want to plunder the country and nothing else.

All is bakwas, tbh. I'm not even interested in politics.

But, I do think that a country should be lead by liberal parties.

I think people should be involved in politics, because it directly influences our lives.
So you're not a fan of PMLN, I guess?

I used to be a fan of PTI, but that was two years ago.

Now, I'd say PMLN is better than most of the parties but is still shitty.

I'm a lefty on social issues, and probably considered a cenrtist on economic and foreign policy issues. I say centrist because on the whole I'm a free marketeer, but still think union representation is a good thing.

I'm on the left with social issues (womens rights, gay marriage, euthanasia etc). I agree ideologically with these anyway, but as much as I agree ideologically. I'm also tacitly aware that as a 30yo white male, I'm in the privaliged class societally, and fundamentally it's none of my business about who gets married to who, or if someone wants to get an abortion etc. O find it ironic that it's usually the people who want to legislate to stop these things, are the ones that for everything else say government interference is so wrong.

Because you opened the door with an option, I'm also an atheist.

Happy to discuss or debate points of view if anyone wants too, I can keep this this side of the personal attack line.


I can suggest to people trying The Political Compass it's a site where you answer heaps of questions and it plots where you are politically, can be quite insightful!

Why don't you support PTI anymore?

Because, Imran Khan had the opportunity to completely change KPK, but instead, He opted to go on dharnas, and jalsas, and rants against Nawaz Sharif because of his own personal dislikes.
