Post your questions about the game here!

Im sorry if Ross has answered this but, is the Man of the Match and Man of the Tournament issues same as Ashes for Big Ant's? Does it not feature it?

Ross, you did mention about clouds moving while playing. Does that mean weather changes in real time or updates session by session?
Also does a rain 'delay' produce a shorter set of overs to be bowled?

The weather and light change in real time (accelerated for short matches), it is cool seeing day turn to night. If there is rain or drizzle the the overs are effected as per the rules of the match you are playing.

Motm? You have to wait and see :)

Ps: please excuse typo's at the footy Go Blues!!!

Oh great! Waiting see the sun flares and moving clouds. Do we have rainbows? :p

And sure we will wait. Not sure if its what I think it is, but I won't take my hopes high yet.

Oh enjoy your game Ross. :)

are there hit wicket, freehit, superover features in this game?also scenarios like in ashes where you have to repeat the records created by great players like sachin, gilly, gayle etc ???Thanks in advance

Hit Wicket is not there, Ross had confirmed earlier. That came to me as a surprise as we were told we could move up and down the crease.

I have no idea what they are doing, I believe they haven't submitted and they don't know really when they will be in a position to do so.

They have known for a loooooonnngggg time that they would not make 21st June. I am surprised that they posted only a few days ago that they would make the date (my sig) as they really could have said nothing as they are doing now rather than further mislead. Games slip and we all make mistakes - this was not a mistake.

Sir, at what stage will will their game's delay start to affect the date for your game? If they manage to get the game out by July 10, will your game still be on time? Just trying to understand the relation here, because instead of delaying the game further because of 505 Ashes why not get it out first?! Whether they can still meet the July 10 date is hopefully a question they will want to answer soon to not annoy their customers further!

Thanks

If they haven't submitted yet then July 10th is not realistic.

1) when we will be able to create customize tournaments and matches ?
hoping this to be in new update#6 ! :yes

2) they r many options in player and team management which are disabled such as batting and bowling skills ,team sponsors ,team stadiums etc . so r we able to access them in cricket academy or in full original game ?

plz rely big ants studio !:wave

Some of them will be accessible with the final update.

I do not think options like customizing tournaments and matches will be enabled until the real game releases. There is no point having those options without the actual game. All it would do is "leak" more information regarding the game.

Yeah, makes no sense to include those. Keep in mind, this is supposed to be a "teaser" for the FULL game. I don't (honestly) think any of the really nitty-gritty stuff will be included because, well, we should be paying for that. Bit like Christmas, get some chocolate before the day but save the big reveals for the big day.

We're just beta-testing all the little nuts and bolts en-masse that they can't do themselves. I imagine the tournaments and matches is more complicated and therefore, needs specialist eyes across it from the in-house team.

@Ross, will we be able to implement our own music for the menus like you can in FIFA?

TableTop Cricket is set for release after the full cricket game - TableTop is gaining great benefit from coming in second, some features have been transferable.

I can let you know that TableTop Cricket allows for edited players and players of different heights - you can create "Little Masters" of 5'5" that will appear to be different in height to a created "Freddie" of 6'4" :p

I found two new screenshots while looking for more information on the game :p Any chance you can confirm if Test matches are in or will not make it because of the nature of gameplay? Also, what is the clock in the second screenshot for? And it is great to see the image of the player in the stats section of the first screenshot - there really can't be anything that you haven't thought of :D

Thanks Ross. Keep making TTC as awesome as the full game!

Something that came to mind from the mention of Cricket Coach in the other thread - is it an eventual goal for the career mode side of things to be developed to the point where you've basically got a full management game within the main game?

There will obviously be a limit, no one literally bats on their stumps... not a big issue for me. Future versions maybe.

That is certainly the long term goal.

Of all the things we have discussed on here it is the element of the game that has changed the most during development. I will discuss it at length sometime in the coming week.

Hi Ross,
I had a question related to the commentary in this game. Since, based on what we already know, the batting mechanics allow us to control most of the aspects of batting, will the commentators comment on the reason for the dismissal, e.g.:

- Played down the wrong line
- No feet movement
- Ill-timed shot
- Combination of the above three, or
- just the ball being too good for the batsman

If we do have such a kind of feedback on what was the reason for the dismissal, it would help us to know roughly what went wrong, and thus improve on it. It would also help people who are new to the game.
