So. Are there any Commentators that have been confirmed. Its often what makes or brakes a video game.

It will be on PSN but cannot be on day one - I can't go into the detail but there are platform restrictions in place that mean there is a period of delay.

The PlayStation disk version will be region free (as all Blu-ray games are).

SCEA are awesome to deal with, the game will be released on PSN in the US. As above, not on day one.

That is AWESOME to hear!! Although I will be getting the disc version to begin with. Hopefully patches can still be applied through PSN once the game itself comes on PSN.

I need to check how we go with player pools in terms of locality, from the PSN point of view. There may not be the greatest number of people online in the US to play with and I am not 100% sure on how people are grouped globally by PSN - I will check and get back to you.

Thanks for the take-away Ross. By the way we were able to set up and play games against players from all over the place (UK/India/Aus/SA etc.) in AC 09. We had a list of games that we could join and we could join any of those and as you rightly mentioned there weren't too many North American based users so most of the times I played online games against folks from other regions. Games against UK based players were ok but against sub-continental players, and occasionally against Aus/NZ players I faced lag.

One of the reasons I am thinking of ordering the game from UK/Europe and apply the patches via UK/European psn store is so I could be tagged as a "UK/European" gamer and get added to that pool, thus able to easily get online games. But do let us know if I will need to play the game using the European/UK psn id as well to do so. I was hoping to retain my North American psn for playing online and have the UK/European psn for applying game patches & DLC.

Hoping to get more clarification from you regarding the same and maybe we can create a separate thread to address the issue as we get closer to game release. Maybe you can share info on how similar concerns were addressed for AFL or RLL2.

As I mentioned earlier, we will need to create a separate thread to discuss this piece. It's not as simple as you think. PS3 games are region free but game patches & DLCs are region locked. Thus you cannot apply the patch/DLC from a US psn if the game was bought from Europe or Asia. There are ways to address the problem but we can do so in another thread closer to the release of the game, and when we have more information from Ross/Big Ant.

I wonder, will it be inevitable that you make it to test level or will that really be a struggle? When you think about it, maybe 5% of state players (as a guess) ever get to play test cricket for Australia. Perhaps 10-15% get a one dayer or 2020 game. Will it be like that in this game or would that frustrate too many people?

I reckon it'd be great if there were a realistic option where you could end up being a Brad Hodge who scores a Mark load of domestic runs but struggles to get a test game.

My guess is the game will not be as hard as the real thing in this way, if it is hard to get up to test level then maybe drop the difficulty level to the skill level we are at. p.s Ross do we have all 5 of the difficulty levels in this career mode just like the other modes.

No for this, I saw Ross confirm this somewhere, still would be fun for a short game modes like T20. Tests no way.

ROSS will it a big trouble to introduce RUMBLE at points other than EDGE??
Remember how Gamepad rumbles when taking penalties in tight situation in FIFA.
Can we get some Rumbling to add to our tension, when we need 4/6 runs to win from 1/2 balls while batting or when we get hit too many boundaries or sixes while bowling?
