Post your questions about the game here!

You're ok mate, let's be honest we all give each other crap on here, just nothing below the belt kind of things, not saying I have problems there.:rolleyes

I read a lot of crap.,..,,dont know if I give (a) crap too much...

Perhaps, but I'm sure Graeme smith would have something to say about it!

Now that's funny, not what I wrote but still very funny.:lol

See I new the old Dutchad was still hiding deep down there, hi how is the wait for these cricket games going old Dutchad.:p:wave

Monday today I am hoping one of the dev from bigant will be here today and explain the reason for dropping management side of career. I still think bigant should includs that too for people like us who enjoy more of management than be a pro kind.

Just one request if the game is not distributed in USA. Please make it downloadable through psn

I wonder, will it be inevitable that you make it to test level or will that really be a struggle? When you think about it, maybe 5% of state players (as a guess) ever get to play test cricket for Australia. Perhaps 10-15% get a one dayer or 2020 game. Will it be like that in this game or would that frustrate too many people?

I reckon it'd be great if there were a realistic option where you could end up being a Brad Hodge who scores a fearsome tweak load of domestic runs but struggles to get a test game.

Agreed. Coz if North American playstation store doesn't have the game, it would be tough to apply patches and DLC here.

It will be on PSN but cannot be on day one - I can't go into the detail but there are platform restrictions in place that mean there is a period of delay.

The PlayStation disk version will be region free (as all Blu-ray games are).

SCEA are awesome to deal with, the game will be released on PSN in the US. As above, not on day one.

I'm assuming the progression through the levels will be on the easier side as nobody would want to play the game where their character fails to make the next level despite performing well.

Plus I don't think Big Ant has progressed to such an extent that they could hope to build an AI which could replicate Aussie selector's way of thinking :p Now if there's a presentation to be made or homework to be completed to progress, we are talking :D

and what about digitally on PC? I'm sure that's where most people on PC will purchase.

Thanks Ross :thumbs

I was actually thinking to get the game from Europe/UK and apply the patches/DLC via the UK psn store. Coz if I go with US psn store there will always be delays compared to UK/Aus/Asia.

I normally don't share source code.... but it's a one liner

if random(((homeWorkgiven / homeWorkComplete)*100) + noOfBadMouthingTweets - isMyMateOutOf100) < 1 then selected()

Really surprised no one found that in the Cricket Academy files.

TBF folks were busy with the AC 13 preview event :D

Can't talk of the distribution platform yet but there will be a PC version for download.

PS: At 15 quid I think there will be a lot buying PC disk versions of Ashes on Amazon, if I'd pre-ordered somewhere else I'd quickly change while possible to that deal. This price will no doubt give more people an opportunity to buy both games which is great :D

I need to check how we go with player pools in terms of locality, from the PSN point of view. There may not be the greatest number of people online in the US to play with and I am not 100% sure on how people are grouped globally by PSN - I will check and get back to you.
