I want to lynch Bevab right now, but one of BKB, Barmy or Zhuorb can be a DV, and I want to give Bevab one last chance before it's night in India. If he doesn't post in 4-5 hours or so, I'm going to lynch him. Or if you guys say we needn't wait for him, I can lynch him right now as well.

Somehow I just do not believe Bevab. I am totally not buying his miller claim.

I did not find anything substantial in the write-up, which you haven't said. All I read through was just about the same as Varun.
One more thing. Aditya lynched me and Bevab at the start. Then he joked about it. As soon as he saw the bandwagon, he somewhat freaked out and suggested that his vote be taken off. If Bevab shows up mafia, then we can also take it that Aditya is mafia, more or less.

Wow, can you please see that I posted first about the write-up? Also I did not see Aditya freaking out like you say.

Whenever did I ever freaked out and can you point out the post where I requested my vote to be taken off? Seriously, are you kidding me? You go inactive from nowhere, come back online and put suspicion on me without providing any reason that makes sense. You do know that when you put suspicion on someone in mafia games you need to prove your suspicion on that particular member and you're not doing so. Do point out where I freaked out by my vote on Bevab and you. Also do point out when did I ever suggest my vote to be taken off. I'm not impressed by that post at all, Zhourb. Until you prove your suspicion on me, I'm not gonna remove my lynch on you because your last post clearly looks suspicious.

Aditya, you're getting aggressive here. A FOS would have been better. Only a mafia or non-townie gets pressurized when even the smallest of the attacks are put on him. That's certainly unnatural behaviour.

So, err...what was that eh? Bevab was hammered, but PD took your vote off. I feel that you were somewhat relieved after seeing that and hence this post. Then, to appear towny, you gave the FOS.

There actually is no reason for that post, Aditya. Basically, you see somebody FOS'ing you and are scared, get defensive all of a sudden, but then after 2-3 lines in the post you now get aggresive and counter-attack. Bad play, Aditya.

I still have no reason to unlynch Bevab. BKB has not posted after the write-up yet, so lets all wait for his post too.

Also, I kinda went inactive for the past 2 days because my internet was down, and my ISP wasn't even responding to my messages. I was viewing some threads on my mobile, but it was hard to post through it, just because I was using my mom's phone, and it ain't a QWERTY phone.

That's all I got till now, I'm off to play football on a rainy day. Going shopping for the Sunday, so I won't be back till about 10 hours atleast.

If you're busy with life, it doesn't matter, but you made a good point on Aditya. Although I would not say that he initially got defensive. And please point out where Aditya felt relieved or freaked out.

How am I getting defensive? My lynching you is defensive? Me telling you to point out the post where I freaked out on my lynch on Bevab is defensive? I'm telling you to point out the posts to support your suspicion is defensive?



You "feel" that I was somewhat relived? How exactly do you feel I'm relived? And where in that post was I freaking out? You clearly mentioned in your last post that I freaked out to see Bevab getting just about hammered but yet, you don't show the post where I freaked out and also where am I suggesting PD to take my vote off on Bevab? He did that himself, I never told him to remove my lynch and after playing so many games, wont I know that we're not supposed to lynch two members at a time!

If I and Bevab were actually working together, wont I unlynch him before going offline so just in case, if other members lynch him, he isn't hammered. You say something in one post and say otherwise in the other, you're clearly confused. TBH, you're playing like a "typical" mafia or simply very very badly as a townie.

That's Zhourb's post after my lynch on him was removed and put on Bevab instead. At that time, he didn't mentioned anything at all about me lynching two members at a time because he was now having no lynches on him.



Here Zhourb is asking Bevab to role claim. I agree with him, taking too much time for a defense is scummy but when that post was posted it had not even been a day since the game had started but him asking Bevab to role claim, was the right thing to do.



Here, considering that Zhourb asked Bevab to role claim, I expect a much detailed post from him, stating why doesn't he believe Bevab's claim. Simply because he is a miller? If this was so easy, then I would have lynched him just after he role claimed. The thing is, in the last few games we've had millers and in this one, we can have one too but why doesn't Zhourb think this way is beyond me. Bevab's timing of role claiming was wrong but we need to discuss about it before blindly lynching him.

Zhourb is posting very less and yet trying to be very smart and getting from any suspicion at all. I expect a good defense from him or else I'm not putting off my lynch on him because I've provided enough reasons for my lynch on him.

Meh, that's a pretty long post but we need a few to get some discussion started. We need to go beyond Bevab too but at the same time, he needs to be more active or else he is the one who has been under suspicion since day 1.

A good post there. Zhourb automatically went under the radar once I pointed him out. But nobody cared about him at that time.

I'm being over defensive? When someone provides a defense in a much detailed manner it's an issue when someone doesn't provide a defense at all then also it's an issue. Help me understand, I'm being lynched for what? For stating that I believe a miller could be in this game or for simply defending myself. If defending myself gets me lynched then why should I even bother providing a defense when you guys clearly have got no evidence whatsoever against me.

Also Colin, if you're still suspicious of Bevab why are you not lynching him but me instead? If you look through the thread he has looked more suspicious than me and yet I'm the one who you lynch.

Weird to see Aditya divert off his suspicion onto me.

Correct me if I'm wrong, you're saying that Zhourb saying that I freaked out when I saw Bevab just about to get hammered was true even though he didn't point out the post (because there isn't any) and you also agree that I "requested" PD to take my vote off from PD. Colin, TBH you're a great player and when you are not considering these obvious facts than I've no other option but to be suspicious of you.

Haha yeah, I realize I've posted the same thing again and again. As far as asking for "hard core proof" is concerned, when Zhourb pointed out the "freaked out" thing and me asking PD to remove my vote, I just told him to point out the post which he didn't, I don't think this can really be called asking for "hard core proof/s".

I'm still hesitant to remove my lynch on Zhourb, he hasn't been active throughout this game but then that's the case with Bevab too. If anything, I'd request PD to maybe contact them via pm and ask them whether they want to be replaced.

After reading the thread all over again, it's between Zhourb and Bevab for me. These two have been very inactive, Bevab has been poor with his defense whereas in Zhourb's case you might call me selfish but considering that he's not posting anything at all after putting some pressure on me, does make me suspicious of him. Though, I can switch my lynch to Bevab as he's not posting at all.

@Colin - What do you make of Zhourb's gameplay so far?

I did not go under the radar when I was pointed out please, I defended myself, I admit I'm still rusty after a long time and my defence was poor, still I was active. It was the last 2 days that got busy for me because of personal issues.



And I've got to go now, there's no electricity here and I've got plenty of homework to do. I'll come at night if there's electricity, and see how things are turning out.

Bevab, I should admit that throughout the game I was expecting a better defense from you because of your role claim which I still admit confused at the time but all that you've done is to, look for reasons to hide your inactivity. No one asked your opinion on Zhourb or me. We wanted you to defend yourself and if you think you've done that, I tend to differ. If you cannot be active than it's best to lynch you.

It had been a long day. The brutal death of Sedition had curtailed much of the initial progress. Though fingers began to point, the noose of justice was still lying slack in a clich?d metaphor. The rain that had washed away the stain of innocent death now eased itself up. It was just after lunch time when the sun tentatively attempted to shine. Strengthened by the warming rays of Icarus' great foe, the town felt a rekindled belief in their own convictions. They rounded on their first day suspect with all the certainty of a chronic gambler betting on a sure thing. Had they made the right choice? Was this the beginning of the redemption of Duckton?

Bevab is dead. He was....

Day 2

He was sat in the back of his favourite business front as he took out his phone and made the call that had only ever meant death. One short and sharp ring was all it had ever taken to play his part in finding, what he had always referred to as: ?solutions.? No answer. The line dead. This wasn't in his plans. Now he would have to get his hands dirty. Power though, had not been bestowed upon him. He had earned his dues before and was prepared to do it again. He opened his safe and took out the only ever god he'd ever needed. He screwed on his guardian angel and made his way out into the streets. In the distance a siren started up, the man just smiled to himself and carried on towards his target.

He sipped his tea. Calmly. Yesterday was a bad day. He didn't like yesterday. Today though. Today was perfect. He loaded the shells into his recently purchased pristine double barrelled shotgun. Each pair precisely entered with pinpoint timing. Tonight was a good night. An excellent night. His hotel room had served well enough once the initial confusion had been fixed. He had made sure he booked an even numbered room. He had been incredibly fastidious about it, and most upset when they suggested he hadn't informed them. Regardless, that wasn't important now. He attached his shotgun to the purposefully sewn holster on the inside of his long trench-coat and made his way out into the streets. He had himself a target, and tonight was the night the town would begin to feel his wrath.

To know what others were doing in a town like Duckton could, and had, been worth a fortune to him. Sometimes more than that. Sometimes it had saved his life. He had made it his job to be unseen and to work for himself. But his history with the Mafia didn't read well, and he couldn't afford to see them take power. Maybe he knew how important he was, maybe he didn't, but in a town like Duckton, perhaps he was now the only person who could truly get to the bottom of it all. He stalked his target with the patience of a crocodile and the vision of a hawk. His skills honed from years of practice. Maybe he didn't know how important he was, but someone else unfortunately did. As he entered his expensively purchased apartment to end a successful night, the last thing he saw was the pristine double barrelled shotgun firing into his face.

He headed out for the second night in a row, he took his trusty kit with him and again he succeeded. This time though, his previous success had bred a gentle arrogance. On the verge of leaving and from within the darkness the whirling lights meant for sure he'd have some explaining to do.

Yes, tonight had been a good night. The town were so scared of the Mafia threat, but he was the man who would write the ending. History was his to own. The fools didn't know what they were doing. He had taken out the town's biggest asset. He was going to cause chaos. Now it was time to head back to his room. The clouds were gathering overhead, and it was now past midnight. It was no longer a good day. He carefully entered his rented accommodation and switched on the light. He would shower soon, but first he sat on the bed and began cleaning his new best friend. He was content, as content as he had been for as long as he could remember. The smile was still on his face when the cleaning staff found him the next day, lying flat on his bed. Two silently delivered halos rested in the side of his head. His reign of terror was over before it had truly began.

Hmmm, I knew there was an individual aligned player. Does that mean there are only two mafia, because three would be too unbalanced?

I'm going to reread the writeup and do an analysis a little later when it's afternoon here.
