Puddle Mafia 01 - Game over. Town wins.

If the SK only kills on even nights how did he kill on night 1?

did he now?

Manly has only got himself to blame, he basically stated he had an important role.

----------

Right I've re-read the whole thread and, aside from bevab who I still think is mafia, I'm also suspicious of Aditya.

He was careful to accuse bevab and FOS him but not actually hammer him. Also I agree that he is being over-defensive about a nothing allegation which is often a mafia tell.

So, in the interests of moving the game along, lynch Aditya.

Pretty much highlights my case against Aditya now.

Marks been very aggressive towards Bevab and Colin also caught him so that makes those two pro-town for me.

I am 90% sure Aditya is mafia but I am not sure on Varun as well. He has been quiet and not given any hints on the side he is on. I think we need a roleclaim from him. What do you say Colin?

I am a vanilla townie.

Lynch: Varun

Dont follow me folks, this could be over in a hurry

He was sat in the back of his favourite business front as he took out his phone and made the call that had only ever meant death. One short and sharp ring was all it had ever taken to play his part in finding, what he had always referred to as: ?solutions.? No answer. The line dead. This wasn't in his plans. Now he would have to get his hands dirty. Power though, had not been bestowed upon him. He had earned his dues before and was prepared to do it again. He opened his safe and took out the only ever god he'd ever needed. He screwed on his guardian angel and made his way out into the streets. In the distance a siren started up, the man just smiled to himself and carried on towards his target.

Godfather forced to do his own killing. Some cop investigation going on but doesn't sound like of GF.

He sipped his tea. Calmly. Yesterday was a bad day. He didn't like yesterday. Today though. Today was perfect. He loaded the shells into his recently purchased pristine double barrelled shotgun. Each pair precisely entered with pinpoint timing. Tonight was a good night. An excellent night. His hotel room had served well enough once the initial confusion had been fixed. He had made sure he booked an even numbered room. He had been incredibly fastidious about it, and most upset when they suggested he hadn't informed them. Regardless, that wasn't important now. He attached his shotgun to the purposefully sewn holster on the inside of his long trench-coat and made his way out into the streets. He had himself a target, and tonight was the night the town would begin to feel his wrath.

This must be the SK.

To know what others were doing in a town like Duckton could, and had, been worth a fortune to him. Sometimes more than that. Sometimes it had saved his life. He had made it his job to be unseen and to work for himself. But his history with the Mafia didn't read well, and he couldn't afford to see them take power. Maybe he knew how important he was, maybe he didn't, but in a town like Duckton, perhaps he was now the only person who could truly get to the bottom of it all. He stalked his target with the patience of a crocodile and the vision of a hawk. His skills honed from years of practice. Maybe he didn't know how important he was, but someone else unfortunately did. As he entered his expensively purchased apartment to end a successful night, the last thing he saw was the pristine double barrelled shotgun firing into his face.

This is the tracker doing his job then getting whacked.

He headed out for the second night in a row, he took his trusty kit with him and again he succeeded. This time though, his previous success had bred a gentle arrogance. On the verge of leaving and from within the darkness the whirling lights meant for sure he'd have some explaining to do.

This one is confusing. Someone who sounds scummy was investigated by the cop.

Yes, tonight had been a good night. The town were so scared of the Mafia threat, but he was the man who would write the ending. History was his to own. The fools didn't know what they were doing. He had taken out the town's biggest asset. He was going to cause chaos. Now it was time to head back to his room. The clouds were gathering overhead, and it was now past midnight. It was no longer a good day. He carefully entered his rented accommodation and switched on the light. He would shower soon, but first he sat on the bed and began cleaning his new best friend. He was content, as content as he had been for as long as he could remember. The smile was still on his face when the cleaning staff found him the next day, lying flat on his bed. Two silently delivered halos rested in the side of his head. His reign of terror was over before it had truly began.

GF kills SK.

With 5 alive (and presumably 2 mafia) we might be best served by a mass role claim here. What do others think?

I would be careful about laying lynches in a LyLo situation as a mafia blitz could hammer and end the game.

I agree that Varun has some questions to answer.

If you guys want to lynch me then lynch me, I've got nothing more to say in my defense, I've already said enough.

I'm not really able to gather any hints from the write up. Perhaps Varun has something to add.

Among the players that are alive, Colin doesn't look like he is playing his normal game. I'd point out again, it's beyond me how he didn't find Zhourb's game suspicious. BKB and Varun, both did post that Zhourb's reasons to put pressure on me were not "justified". Mark on other hand, didn't say anything about Zhourb but did mention that he doesn't see the connection between Bevab and me.

Colin persisting with lynching Bevab worked but what if he is playing a great game and from the starting of the game, he was going after his own team member? Knowing how Colin plays as mafia, it wont be shocking if he indeed was doing so, going after Bevab from starting. Colin, will it be possible for you to post your views on all the players that are alive?

Apart from Colin, Mark has been playing a very quiet game. He was aggressive towards Bevab, that's good but apart from Bevab, I haven't heard from him about his views on other members.

That's an interesting post to make when you have no lynches on you :p

What do you think about the idea of a mass role claim? Cons are that the mafia knows who to pick off, pros are that the town PRs know who to target.

I am 90% sure Aditya is mafia but I am not sure on Varun as well. He has been quiet and not given any hints on the side he is on. I think we need a roleclaim from him. What do you say Colin?

I was referring to BKB. :p If you guys feel that I'm mafia, then lynch me because I've got nothing more in my defense.

I thought I had made my view on you pretty clear from my post. I would rather you role claimed than did and said nothing.

I thought my last two posts made it very clear that I haven't got an important role. :p I'm a vanilla townie and that's why I have nothing more to say in my defense.

As requested:

Mark - followed me on bevab but also tried the play the "if Colin's not dead after night 0 he must be mafia" card. Leaning town.
Varun - always hard to read. Feel like he's holding back a bit tbh. Want to hear more from him.
BKB - hasn't contributed much but what he has contributed has been useful. Possible mafia.
Aditya - gameplay hasn't been great but I'm fairly satisfied that he's town.

So in my book we're getting two from BKB, Mark and Varun. Of those Varun is the one I want to focus on first.

FOS: Varun

Holy fearsome tweak. I almost had this game won, and then the mafia killed me. fearsome tweak me. By the way, you can thank me for killing your tracker.:lol

You think that Aditya is NOT mafia Colin? Hmm interesting you were after him earlier.

And how do you assume there are two mafia left? I didnt see anything that refers to it.

The cop is the key here. If he has info on two or more alive players then I believe he can roleclaim here (presuming we have agreed on a mass roleclaim), cause that will clear a few things out.

No comment on the first part. As for two mafia it's based on the idea there are usually 3 in a 9 player game. I think there is goon, GF and role blocker. evab was the goon (hence the GF had to do his own killing last night). Hence two remain.
Seeing as you and Adi have claimed I think Varun and Mark need to as well.

I'm a plain Vanilla townie. I have been playing a bit reservedly because I'm trying a change of gameplay this time.
