Puddle Mafia 04 - Endgame Mafia (barmyarmy, BKB, RPHKR win)

I'll post something 'substantial' tonight. Realised why I don't necessarily have time for participating in mafia games in the last 24 hours.

Guys my router at home screwed up, and I'm running out of data on my 3G plan.. I won't be able to login for about 12 hours at the least.
All I'd like to say now is that my suspicions for Thedon and Barmyarmy still stand.

Right, here we go.

One, can have a dig at my lack of involvement all you like, as far as I see it's as pointless a task as deciding whether we should target no lynchers just because it could be scummy play. In this game anything can be scummy or town play, and over the course of the many games played on the forum they all have been strategies or methods of play by both town and mafia players. I do struggle to find time to post huge insights on the situation at the moment, a) because everything is going round in circles and b) I am having a busy week. Can call it excuses if you like but considering it's my life they are pretty valid.

Secondly, On Papa Smurf's roleclaim and then constant charge against me. There have been people posting just as much as me, why am I being singled out so vividly when you haven't mentioned anyone else whatsoever? I sure as hell don't see all 14 players posting constantly right now.

As for the roleclaim. A roleblocker is an obvious role to have in a game this size, so if he was lying then he'd be praying for a miracle that he didn't get counter claimed or thought he was good enough to fight the counter claim. But saying you targeted BKB before his death is a serious cop out and would be the perfect thing to say seeing as he was unable to kill and died (I am 99% sure the GF's kill just came as priority over his kill). Would BKB not have been told he was roleblocked? I wouldn't pursue a lynch right now but your claim renders you a mafia target of some sort. Could be a ploy to get the doctor to protect you but I doubt it.

There seem to be several people really pushing the same points and just going round in circles. I don't see a problem in going after a small group but there's no point just having the same discussion - it ends with us getting nowhere.

Finally, RPHKR. Constantly posting small one liners that are complete rip offs from what people have posted before him. He's done it several times now, making it seem like he's adding to discussion when actual fact he's copying points from the most active players.

Hope that was substantial enough for you...

Just like to say that I'm not totally buying the Jonathan Trott claim, I'm really not.

----------

I think there are more obvious candidates (ie that Indian chap), and I highly doubt the game is made up of a majority of Englishmen.

I know it sounds far-fetched but there's always a chance I'm right..

Also I know who I'm gunning for tomorrow, hopefully you'll all join with me. Dossier is almost complete.

Aditya is the one I'm most suspicious of tbh, purely since he was meant to be running his own game. But now he's barely posting? What's going on?

FOS: Aditya

I think this is an atypical game in that there's not as much info to go on as usual. That makes claims less safe as they can't (normally) be confirmed by the write-up.
I agree with Treva on RPHKR but as I said before I've found in the past that this is just the way he plays. Not sure.
No idea how much time it left in the day but we're unlikely to manage a lynch unless we can agree on a new target pretty quickly.

Day 3, and because I think it's too late in the day 2 to get thoughts and lynches from everyone.

Also because it's only a hunch. A hunch with a dossier.

well i think in any mafia game information is at such a premium that there is little concrete to go on and things have to be done on probabilities and deductive reasoning, regardless of the write-up.

the only variation i played had the same roles/characters every time dependent on number of players, those games had few false claims despite everybody knowing the roles.

If anything the vague write-up makes falsenclaims safer because you can make one up and there is a chance that role doesn't exist so you won't be counter-claimed.

but are you not making yourself a mafia target for night 2?

Spill. Do you really think something significant will happen in the night to change this? Plus, isn't it like 11 pm in England? I think PD will turn the game tonight tomrrow, not now.

We need someone to come up with another strong hunch as to who we go after, otherwise we're just waiting for night if everyone is so hesitant.

I hope your dossier hasn't been sexed up.
@ste - he'd only be making himself a mafia target if he revealed who his dossier was on :p

So you're not saying anything since you think you'll be killed in the night? Interesting...

not necessarily. if nobody at else/the general discussion is way off then it's better to take out the guy who has kept it quiet but could be right?
