Realistic goals for International Cricket 2010?

:laugh

Gotta love the flair for new members, guess the passion had not been snuffed out yet

Who cares who came up with it, im sure many have thought of it.

How quaint of you to be so modest.

Look, I'm sure there will be a solution that solves the issue of inappropriate AI pacing, but it might not be in this year's edition.

To make test matches last longer all they need to do is made a really hard hard mode and make the batsmen play more defensive and make the bowlers bowl better at you to make you bat more defensively and therefore longer. But if you haven't got the time to play for a long time then the shortened sessions idea would be good, I'm just saying I personally wouldn't probably use it.

Well I would, when I play Madden I dont play 15 minute quarters, I play 4 minutes for practicality and It does not fundamentalyl change the game. In fact if you play Madden on 15 minute quarters its impossible to have a realistic game.

I Think 15 overs a session is enough time in a video game to put up 50-100 runs or lose 4-5 wickets.

That way we can actually play matches that last multiple days and maybe even have draws.

It should be a choice, thats all Im asking

I absolutely agree with that. Also they need to create a very hard mode as well as said in the post before.

I did that by accident once and it was painful, especially when a 15 minute quarter takes nearly an hour.

Not really, NFL games do not last 4 hours.

The average length of an NFL game is a little over 3 hours, due to all the play stoppages. You can call that the total "TV time", so if that's what he is referring to, then he's not that far off.

The Superbowl with all it's advertising takes 4 hours.

Im talking TV time, no NFL game (besides Superbowl) goes 4 hours.
