I just had a most pleasing match in the demo. I bowled against the Aussies and by making small adjustments to swing/seam, I kept the run rate down, but I wasn't taking wickets. It was a glorious sunny day, so far, so realistic! Even when I bought the spinners on (because my quicks were half dead), it didn't get too badly out of hand. It was easily the best bowling experience I've ever had in the demo. I didn't use any custom fields either. There were around four suicide-o-runouts by the AI.

One thing though, Transmission have either got to give us an appeal button, or bloody appeal when it's appropriate! I had at least three occasions where I was yelling 'Howzaaat'? at the screen, only for it to be called an edge! They were not edges! These invisible edges have to go because they're ruining LBWs in the game (well, the demo, at least).

Know what you mean mate they look like they've hit the pad, sounds like the pad but the commentator says edge, very frustrating!!!

Online Play Impressions Thread.

I know there are few online threads going on but the are for pc, ps3 and xbox separatley. I have created this thread to discuss online play in general. what's good in online and what's bad. This just to share your experiance that you had online.

I love playing online and it seems pretty good to me. I havent got my copy as yet on xbox but will get it on thursday as i am in Australia.

You seem too sarcastic. Also if you have gone in there and advanced down the wicket every second ball or so than its not the game at fault. It might just be your style of batting that does not quite match a test match way of batting.

am sarcastic cause thats my style of humor and if am too sarcastic your way too optimistic...beyond humanly belief.

no i did not advance,no i didnt even hit a single six and most of the shots
were along the ground......

and wtf is this "not the games fault" ??? its the games duty to MAKE me scared of slogging...

Got the game on PC today, started it, had a quick go in the legends mode (I can now block the ball successfully), and then started the Ashes mode as Australia on Hard. 8 overs in batting, the run rate was 3.8, but I'd edged most of the shots, but none of them carried, and when one did, the game crashed (though there was a sound issue initially so I'd saved a few balls earlier).

The AI fielding is horrible, *everything* was misfielded. When they did field it correctly, I got ran out because the batsman can't cancel runs in any decent amount of time. So I was 1/34 by the time the game crashed, so that should have been 2/34.

I'll wait until I've played for a few weeks before my full review of it.

As i Said you are good player and I honestly was not being sarcastic. I believed you when you said you did not try to hit sixes. I had no reason not to believe you.

btw, the AI misfields almost every ball but have ya ever experienced the fielders letting the ball through the gates(between the legs) ??
never experienced it in the game....would've made more sense...

Mr darkboyblunder is watching us. Mate, you need to fix the runouts, ball looping, AI pacing themselves, correct player stats, and if possible ability to save game online (which i think is too much to ask but i will anyway). and please make sure you guys do this for all versions i.e xbox, ps3 and PC. overall its a good effort from you guys, if theses little things can be fixed then it will be great. And one more thing, as i play online most of the time, there should be some punishment for quitters.

i dont understand this.....if transmission can create a new thread for displaying even crap video quality trailer....why cant they post atleast giving a hope of the game being patched ??

Well they did say yesterday or day before yesterday that "they have not forgoten us and we will hear from them soon" make it what you want out of this but seems positive to me.
