Rugby Union

Those cocky French again! We should beat them again, I think we beat them last time we had an encounter, should be a good game.

It will be a very good game given both sides have good backs and forwards. It would be the game of the round, as the ABs play Scotland - no brainer ;), Aus play Wales - crap game and the rest are easy beats.

yes we won

weve won 4 cups this season

watch out for the world cup

and aussies need to think about axing eddie jones

Well done to New Zealand on proving they are the best in the world at the moment. As a Englishman, I was pleased with how we pushed them to the limit, but worried with our inability to take chances against the All Blacks and Australia.

Would like to add how enjoyable the Wales v Australia game was to watch. Great to see the ball getting thrown about!

Well done NZ.

Don't worry we are way ahead of you. Rumours are Jones is gone, and Gregan will be sacked by the new coach.

Well, the French beat us, if only Percy didn't miss those kicks we would have atleast drawn the match, if not won it.

Over the past two games he really has been kicking like he has two left feet, or something similar to that, being the third most capped player and the highest points scorer he really has to pull his socks up.

He's left footed anyway. :p

Have to agree though, i've never seen him kick as badly as he did against Wales. He's always been hot or cold, but never seen him so cold!

I've seen him kick worse. He sometimes chokes with the boot, as we saw yesterday. Usually he is very accurate but yesterday the radar went missing.

Didn't you see that last bit :p

Hence why he was dropped lol, but the wont drop him quickly, there isn't anyone else with his experience or skill floating about as of yet.

I think Gregan should still be captain.
Australia are having a lot of trouble with their forward pack.

I think Gregan has lost his touch as a halfback. He never runs the ball anymore. First things first, Sack Eddie! Then sack the forward pack!

Thank goodness Eddie Moanes is out of the Wallabies!

As for South Africa, I am really disgusted in the way Jake White told the media that the Springbok jersey won't be for free give aways, you have to earn the rights getting there, as for Meyer Bosman, only a few caps under his belt for the Cheethas he was icluded in the team! now if that is a free give-away or not, I don't know. In actual fact we South Africans hate to lose, we cried when we lost against New Zealand at the House of Pain.

Personally shocked about the inclusion of Jantjies at wing, really we have better wings and he is not even a wing! he plays fullback for the lions.

my Currie Cup inform team would have been: 15.Bevan Fortuin
14.Akuna Ndungane
13.Jacques Fourie
12.Jean De Villiers
11.Bryan Habana
10.Morn Steyn/Willed de Waal
9.Enrico Januarie
8.Juan Smith
7.Pedrie Wannenburg
6.Schalk Burger
5.Victor Matfield
4.Bakkies Botha
3.CJ van der Linde
2.John Smit
1.Os du Randt

congratulations to NZ on not just winning three cups but also bagging IRB Player of the year, IRB team of the year and IRB Coach of the year. As for Australia this year, they only return with one good prospect, they won the Under 19 player of the year award. Im proud to say that South Africa both won the U-19 and U-21 Word Cup

BTW any one know the end result for the match between Eng vs Fiji for the Sevens?

Yes about time Eddie was sacked, expect Gregan to follow.
I just wonder who the next coach will be.

As for the 7s England won it.

But there's not much they can do without a top class pack and particularly a front row. The Welsh beat it up at times and England killed it. Al Baxter needs to go i'll tell you that now, he was poor in the World Cup final and he hasn't improved from what I can see. Do you have any potentially international class props? Also, Giteau was out, Larkham out, two fantastic players there and Mat Rogers is mainly a full back or wing isn't he?

Any idea on how Tom Varndell did?
