Rugby World Cup 2011

Flood comes on and first try is scored need I say more? And he hits the conversion, if England were smart they would drop Wilkinson.

Looked like he was injured anyway. France are also playing lousy so England could yet make it through again.

Well that sucked. There was a great atmosphere and stuff at the game, but it's just a shame that the Scots lost the way they did. Four tries in four matches from them though kind of sums up that they don't deserve to go any further.

Wilkinson's such a has been, he should just get on a plane tomorrow and go home.

Lol at France as well, all the teams on that side of the draw look rubbish.

Does anyone else find it slightly dodgy that Carter and McCaw both played against Tonga and France, yet the match in between against Japan and for our match tomorrow they're both out injured. Not to mention they were both injured for the first half of Super Rugby.

*Cough cough* 2007 *cough cough*

Well apart from Ireland.
Ire/NZ final?

Ireland were rubbish against the USA, they seem to have come good since then though.

Nope not dodgy at all, Carter officially gone for the WC.

Yeah, I know that now. :p

The only first five in form out of the eight left (nine if you give Italy a change tonight) in Morne Steyn, the Irish are a bit of a null read though considering they've been chopping and changing between their two.

Cooper, the Argentine guy, Slade, Wilkinson, and the French guy (who's actually a halfback) have all been playing pretty badly. I haven't been following much of Wales so I'm not too sure on them.

If Flood plays for the English then their stocks rise. Barnes could be what is needed to counteract Cooper when things aren't going our way, we will find out soon on that front. Wales and Ireland (assuming they beat Italy) have a great chance to make the semis if not the final.

The fate of the world cup is in Italy's hands now. Really, who wants to see NZ vs. Wales in the final, apart from the Kiwis wanting an easy win? Chuck the Wallabies on that side of the draw and give the tournament some shred credibility.

Flood has to play. Without his kicking Wilko isn't worth his place.

I was lost why he was starting yesterday, he's been way off in the goal kicking department and it looked like Flood did well in the Tri Nations.
It's been great to see the minnows going so well in this WC, if they keep this going then we might seem a lot more upsets at the next WC.

Wow, I think I saw Quade Cooper take a tackle against the Russians.

Lock-in the ABs, but the other three semi-finals are incredibly hard to to pick.

I'd probably have to give Ireland, England, and SA the edge, but I wouldn't be surprised if the other three respective teams all got up.

My pick of France getting to the final isn't looking so good now, after they lost to Tonga.
