Rugby World Cup 2011

Couldn't ask for better results today, Ireland and England going home :wave I was pretty confident Wales could do the job, but thought France had basically no chance.

Only Saf and NZ remain undefeated until tomorrow and next week respectively.

As expected the Wales Ireland game was 50/50 heading into it, Wales played some great footy before that game and deserve to make the semis while Ireland have been going great guns.

Other game I was expecting more a cripple fight. England were lucky to escape the Scotland game with a win so not surprising to see them struggle tonight while the French always seem to produce that one good game.

A lot of people did say it depends which france turn up. England had rumbled on looking sort of clumsy but solid, it was just a question of whether that was their level or if they were always going to be able to produce just enough to see off their opponents. turns out the first one.

Wales sounded pretty awesome, should be an interesting game. the other side of the draw won't be too worried though.

Wales were very strong in defence. There was no space out wide at all for Ireland. Two or three times they were within 5 metres but couldn't get over the line.

OK, I've just watched the recording of the game that I made.

First off, I am usually thoroughly confused whenever a penalty is conceded, or when an offside is called - but I do understand that if you keep dropping or fumbling the ball, you're not going to do well. Definitely, France were the better team, but our handling gave it to them, didn't it? In the first half we should've had at least one try - especially the chance just before the break. And in the second half, I thought we should've had at least one more try.

And why wasn't that beast Banahan - who came on and pushed through the French - why wasn't he on from the start? Very disappointed, but I have to agree with the guys in the studio - England just weren't good enough this time.

Yeah playing both Wilkinson and Flood seemed to be a way of avoiding a decision. With Tindall injured I'd have played Flood at 10 and Tuilangi and Bannahan at 12 and 13.

Pretty happy England lost, I've got no time whatsoever for their Rugby team. They've played awful all tournament against some average teams, and even though France have been average as well you got the feeling that they had a big performance coming. I'm not just saying this now as well, the three finals I bet on were ABs vs France/Ireland/Wales.

It's good to see both teams getting through to the semi's after playing some good Rugby, it would have been pretty annoying if England had got through playing their usual awful brand of Rugby.

I'm probably leaning towards SA tonight, it would be great to see both England and Aussie go out on back-to-back nights. ABs will do it by at least 20 tonight.

I think I speak for everyone here when I say.. Go Wallabies! Thanks in advance to all the neutrals in NZ, who will no doubt be supporting us as we take the dirty Boks to the cleaners. Nah, but seriously, they'll still be dirty even when we're done. Predicting a scoreline of 12-0 to Saf in the eye gouge and biting department.

We may or may not knee their captain in the head.

Both teams playing nervous, but our aggression is keeping them out. Hopefully we can get some territory and amass a bigger lead before we start to tire out.

Shout out to my man Habana, keep taking those hits :thumbs

Quade's got about 25 minutes to make up for all his crap ????. On the plus side, Barnes on.
