Rugby World Cup 2011

Jonathan Kaplan hates England. Could be an interesting game.

The England Rugby Team (I thought I'd differentiate from the country which I don't have a problem with) is just ████. :p

Looking at the draw I wouldn't be surprised if they got through to the final, and then got F'ed up by the ABs there, but I reckon the Frogs will take them down in the quarters.

Unless they take you down first :p

A few interesting matches this weekend.

Wallabies tonight for the Aussies.
NZ vs. France tomorrow.
Argentina vs. Scotland and Fiji vs. Samoa on Sunday.

Can't figure out why our entourage keeps saying we have to collect 2 bonus points in the last 2 matches, like it's life or death or something. Italy would have to beat Ireland by less than 7, with both teams scoring 4 tries or something to put us at risk.

If Aus and Ireland finish on the same points, is it for/against or Ireland takes the top spot?

USA just scored. That period of play was priceless, 18 phases or so build-up.

Good to know, can't see the Irish outscoring us if it comes down to that.

Was hoping we'd put on 50+ and concede less than 10 tonight, so hopefully that clears our head of the Guinness.

We're not content on being the first team to win three world cups, we also want to be the first to drop a pool game and still win.

Was at the cloud for the two games today, a pretty good atmosphere there :)

I didn't get on Queen's wharf, because I only rolled up like half an hour before the ABs match.

Captain Cook wharf was all good though. It was pretty much they same except there was no alcohol, which doesn't really matter when it's expensive as it is on Queen's wharf.

Yea but that's all outside isn't it? Much nicer inside I reckon

Yeah. Queen's wharf is definitely better because you can watch it inside or outside, plus there are extra facilities there that Captain Cook doesn't have, but since I was there just to watch the game I didn't really care.

Hardly anyone outside on Queens Wharf, most were either in the Cloud or in Shed 10

Pretty disappointing for the Scots, missed their opportunities. Well played by the Argentines though, deserved the win.
