Rugby World Cup 2011

Skipping a world cup game to go to some uni lecture? Poor form.

I was pissed that Wales couldn't get over the Boks, but seeing how much weaker it could've made the finals draw, I'm pretty happy about it now.

I watched the game, is all it required was going to an earlier lecture. :p

Samoa - Wales this Sunday should be a cracker, it's shaping up as pretty much round of 16 knockout match.

Good to hear man. Uni will always be there, but world cups only happen once in a lifetime, or thereabouts.

Australia and Ireland coming up this weekend too, the only decent game of our pool. I'm somewhat looking forward to USA vs. Russia tomorrow though.

New Plymouth's going to be Cold War country.

The other thing is that most major sporting events have terrible times here in New Zealand, which is another reason why I'm loving every match being at a decent time.

Haha yeah. Probably a good thing there won't be too many Russian or American eyes on it.

Why do we play Dan Parks? No-one thinks he's any good. For every decent kick you get 3 shocking ones. Add that to the fact he kicks about 80% of ball and our centres barely see the ball.

On the subject of uni I turned up late to one of my exams as I was watching the final day of a test match ;)

Should get bonus marks for that.

Pretty unimpressed with Scotland in their two outings. I thought they might be capable of making a good run, but they're going to need to lift their game if they want to make the quarters. Argentina and England won't be easy to topple.

I think we can beat Argentina but I seriously doubt we'll manage to beat England. New Zealand in the qfs then...

Haha, what a joke Tindall is.

No surprise to see the ABs being the first team to put up 50 points. I haven't seen the whole game yet, but from what I saw Japan 'B' were complete rubbish for the most part, and most of our players played alright.

Come on the three underdogs today! (Especially Ireland)
