Shane Bond Retires from Tests

Bond is the greatest fast bowler at least of this decade for sure cause he was the only fast bowler who managed to trouble the best of Aussie batting line up in their own backyard.

fantastic bowler will be sadly missed! he had the ability to become and all rounder as well. a first class hundred to his name and 2 fifties. not spectacular but pretty useful. its unlikley chris martin will take over his number 8/9 spot!

But only in one dayers. Flintoff could lay claim in tests. Bond the best this decade, thats a joke right???

Perhaps he means in one day cricket, because Bond does have a case tbh.

Read it as Bond only troubled Australia in one dayers tbh.

Well he sure didnt trouble Aus in tests. I doubt he could lay claim to be the best fast bowlers in one dayers this decade either, but one of the better ones, just didnt play enough games really. Good bowler though. Average of 20 is excellent in one dayers. I think Lee has him covered, so many great performances right through the decade in one dayers against all countries and in all countries, and in BIG games too. McGrath averaged 20 this decade too, with a lot more wickets.
