Solve your computer problem with the help of experts!

Not that. I mean, the location of the my documents folder in Windows XP is "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents", while it is different in Windows 7. If you edited/installed patches of any of these games (or just copied the games from the other PC, which many do), there might be a file containing the location "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents" for the files, but you know, it's different in Windows 7 so maybe that's what causing the problem.

Only a guess, what I perceive it to be.

I've installed all the 3 games, didn't copy them from other computer. I haven't downloaded any mod for the game either.

Any help? User2010 has started to face the same problem. Has anyone else faced the same problem in the past?

Recently I exchanged some data with my friend via his pendrive. A day after transferring the data, Microsoft Security Essentials caught a trojan named Alureon.A. Though MSE detected the trojan, neither could it remove it nor quarantine it. Worse was that my laptop couldn't even stay on for even 2 minutes, it would simply reboot.

Somehow after a lot of research I downloaded TSDD Killer from Kaspersky, the system rebooted, and then I ran it's scan and cured the trojan.

Just wanted to know whether it is completely gone or may come back too. Some forum posts on some other websites say that the problem gets completely cured by TSDD Killer while some say that a format and re-installing of Windows is necessary.

Can someone please give me a clear view about it? And I would also like to know the actual cause(s) for this trojan, Alureon.A.

Does anyone know how to hardcode subtitles in a video file?

From your budget I'd go first and foremost with this Samsung RF711 IMO - its feature rich and the one I'd opt for. There is also this Toshiba Satellite going around (It is available on the laptopsdirect.co.uk site, so look around for it to order, but this page is just to look at the specifications), though, you sacrifice GPU (graphics card) to get an upper model of the i5 CPU series (which in Football Manager would theoretically increase sim' times and whatnot). Both look awesome though with the graphite/black look going on. Personally I'd go with the Toshiba out of personal preference but the Samsung is rich in fetures and its CPU is still a 2nd generation i5, equating to quality pricepoint performance nonetheless.

The one you linked to is an ASUS Eco model, unless your into that sort of lad activity (and also dig the the hippy design) hey, go for it ;), other then that its nothing more than a marketing gimmick w/ lesser performance and more emphasis of 'saving the environment'.

Got a new pc a month back, and the DVD drive doesn't want to work after a while like 15 days. Problem is the physical part is fine, and it reads the disk, and does all it's chores :p but fails to read the disk. "Please insert a Disk into the drive blah blah blah" and the drive ejects itself.

A little troubling. I understand this kind of errors prevail in Windows 7.

K, I gotta small problem.

I've got two monitors set up and whenever I use one to play a game (e.g. GTA3) the mouse keeps moving to the second monitor making it impossible to click because the game will minimize.

I tried mouse jail but when I unzipped it, it ended up not having any of the install files in it.

I am running Windows 7

you've misread my problem, Mine keeps moving from L to R in a game

How much of a role does the processor play, because that one had a 2.6Ghz processer where as the ones you linked to 'only' had 2.3 Ghz. What's kind of the defining factor of how fast FM would run? Combo of RAM and processor speed?
