It would seem that the news is that India will try to play three spinners (Chawla, Kumble and Harbhajan) and two pacers who will likely be Pathan and Sreesanth. India will probably look to bat first as to get the opportunity to bowl on the fourth and fifth days on a pitch which is expected to crumble. Personally, I feel that if India wish to play two pace bowlers and Ishant Sharma is not passed fit, than Praveen Kumar would have been a far better option as his ability with the new ball could be fully expressed whereas his deficiencies with the old ball can be hidden by him not bowling at that time in the innings; of course though, he is not in the squad.
