Ravi- hi and welcome to the toss.

there are clouds about in the skies and it looks like thats it going to remain cloudy all day.

moving onto the pitch. pitches at centurion is always the best batting track in south africa. here the pitch has very dry, this will cause the ball to come onto the bat nicley. there will be no movement for the bowlers they will be lucky if they can get the ball moving a bit. allthough some deliveries may stay low and surprise the batsmen.

although for me whoever wins this toss should bat first as this pitch well detoriate as the day goes on. bowling last on this track is a big plus as the ball will kep low, and the sponners will have a part int this pitch

So here i am with both capatins and ,clive loyd after you clive. clive hoiks the coin into the air and heads is called by the south african capatin but its a tails india win the toss

Sourav- we going to bat here first as it looks like a good batting track and hopefully we should get a challeging target

Ravi- you have changed your team around for this match. yes we are resting players for the final next week. so basically we have this match and the match against west indies to find our best squad

ok so graeme what do you think of the outcome

Graeme- well idearly we would of liked to batted here first, but now we have to bowl well and get an early wicket like we have done in our previous matches

Ravi- you also have made changes to your line up aswell

Graeme- yes we to also are going to play around with our squad before the final.

Ravi- ok the outcome is that india won the toss and asked south africa to field first

Barry- well the indians are off to a flyer here. south africa have not bowled badly its just that it such a good batting track and india are taking the advantage. however there was a scare when tendulkar looked like he was going to be out after he played 1 shot too many but rudolph dropped the catch

Alan- yes this was expected from india. south africa now will be bowling a tight line to stop india scoring so heavily

Alan- yes good comeback by the south africans. ganaguly tried to attack boje but got stumped hes out for a duck and mongia got caught of bat and pad and he is also out for a duck

mongia was selected beacuse india have 2 practice games including this one and the windies before they play south africa in the final

so each teams is playing some backup players to give their main players rest
