The 4 stories selected to be chosen I reckon are:

ICC Battle for Supremacy - Riz and User (SOTM October Winner)
William Rose - My Attempt at Greatness! rosewt02 (SOTM November Winner)
2010/11 Vodafone Ashes Series? - Roofrom50 (SOTM January Winner) - It hasn't been really running for that long, 30 days exactly. (Since 11th December)

I wouldn't take William Rose and Vodafone Ashes stories for SOTQ. Though, Ashes story has been an exceptional one but the duration is just too less for SOTQ maybe.

India's Journey - Aditya
Australian Journey - Hedger
Oceania Premier League - JC

Well I'm fine. I agree with you about the Ashes one and rose's one has gone a bit inactive as well so yeah, maybe your selections are good ones.

SOTQ always contains the previous winner of SOTM, even if they were inactive since winning.

Well that is not a hard and fast rule, is it? No point in adding those which are inactive or have started fairly late.

Exactly, SOTQ should only contain the stories which have been running for at least 2 months if not more.
