Are the rules changed? I mean reading what Surender put up tells this -

The winner has always got a custom title.

Maybe I've got it wrong. But, I see it as -

Winner of SOTQ will get a custom title but no thread stickied. And, Winner of SOTM will get thread stickied but no custom title. The title was the main reason for people starting stories and leaving them after winning SOTM for a month and to get rid of it, the SOTQ and new system was put forward. Just my views though.

Nooo!

I've nothing against it to be very honest. In fact I'm happy Callum added that vcash prize for the runner-up. But, if custom titles for SOTM are again given then people will again start the trash over here.

If you look at the hall of fame, no randoms have even won SOTM recently at least.
You hear all this stuff about randoms starting a story just to win SOTM, but the reality is that hardly ever happens.
If you look at the five SOTM 2010 winners, they're all still active around these parts.

I just don't see any reason to change it now, as they've always got one.

Well I know I'm going to be continuing my story for the foreseeable future, and Dutchad who is likely going to win it next month, is not some random so I don't think we'll have a problem like that for a while
