Also, are we going to be able to change music in the game to our own music, or will there even be music?
I would say there would be some well-known music already in the game and it would be very easy to add your own.

If its too hard to incorperate warm up speeds than the first and the last would be the best to use.

1. I think Munaf has the ability to bowl 92, we all knew Shoiab could bowl 100mph, it was just a matter of time, I even think Munaf could bowl 95 with practice.

2. Agreed, editing now

please check my latest post in general chat. ITS URGENT

Well mate, we all cant apply fantasy things in the game. It's nice that you think that way about Munaf but we need to be realistic and the stats must depict that precisely. If he will be able to bowl 90+ mph after 10 years of practise then that is a bit too wishfull thinking imo.

I do agree...

OK I know when im wrong, id like to apologise to all I argued with. Consider it changed.

One thing about the bowling controls , the best bowling control I ever saw in a game was in Ian Botham Cricket, the game was amde somewhere in the early 90's late 80's.

with the up,down, buttong you can choose what bowl u are going to ball. An arrow right next to umpire which u control with the left, right button tells you the line of the delivery. Both of these can be changed up to the last minute.

you press enter and the bowler starts his run up , when he is near the crease u press enter again, and depednign on how long you hold it , decided the lenght of the ball. this can be show wiht a meter, that is if you press it too long its a bouncer, you tap it , its a full toss. It was really really fun to bowl using this control system.

let me know if you dont udnerstand it.

thanks

That sounds like a great way to control the game, sounds quite realistic. The only problem I can see with it is varying the pace.

One can probably have three buttons. So if you press Enter while bowling , its a fast ball, pressing space is medium and ctrl will give you the slower ball.
Realistcally givine bowlers 3 levels of pace i think is a good variation.

No, I think this lack of pace would be terrible to the games realisticity

I disagree , one the resason BLC was terrible was the variation in pace. If you see any bowler , 90% of the time they are in the same range. For example , Shoaib Akhtaer is constanlty between 90-95 mph , rarely now days he goes over, 95mph.

Varitaion in pace is normally between 2-3 mph and ocassional slower ball or faster ball, and that is realstic , not every ball varying by 20mph.

I think I am familiar with EA cricket 97 controls I know nobody will like the idea but the controls were easy to understand in first place.

deliver start-up/fast pace bowling press = ctrl button

deliver start-up/slow pace bowling press = Alt button

below is for medium or fast bowler:-
ctrl + arrows key pressed = left (left out out swing) right (right IN swing) UP(fast straight pace) down (bouncer)

Atl + arrow keys pressed = left ( of cutter ) right ( leg cutter ) up ( yorker ) down (slow ball)

if you like it however I will also post for Spinner too.
p.s = I wish I could post an image here for bowling n batting controls.
