Defining match for India. Their first big opposition of the main competition (warm up not included). If India crack the 'Gayle' code, they will be the big favorites. Or else, Gayle alone will be enough to blow India out. This is a tougher match than the one against England coming up.

This is a must-win for India, as is every game right now! I think we have enough firepower to overcome the West Indies, but the one thing I am troubled about is the Windies lower order and our bowlers. Our bowlers are doing relatively well in the Powerplays and through the middle overs but we have sucked during the death, so far.

The Windies have some good hitters down the order that could take advantage of that.

The Windies looks pretty decent. Experienced guys at 3 and 4 with Bravo at 5. Next two are inexperienced but Simmons showed he can mix it with the best against SL. His bowling should see him in the side.

I put $30 on the West Indies winning this game, so they better not disappoint.

India will crush them today imo. Zaheer is the man whom we depend on.If he strikes early,it will be curtains for the Windies.

We will have to win this. Losing a match at this state, might destroy our momentum. Gayle's their key player. If we can get him early, we will be the sure favourities. Good thing is that we have Ishant, Gayle's team-mate in the KKR camp- he knows exactly the way how Gayle bats, and hopefully we can use his experience against the West Indian side.

So pretty much you're saying once Gayle's out the game is over. The West Indies do have some good players, there bowlers are better then India's.

Don't be this sure. If Gayle gets to some start, then it can be dangerous for India. We all know how "terrific" our bowlers are when it comes to slog over bowling, and in batting- we are heavily dependant on Rohit Sharma and a few others which can work against us. If we fail to stop Gayle early today, if they post something huge, and in reply if we lose two/three quick wickets- it will be just doom for us.

It is somewhat like that, as after Gayle...I'm not dis-agreeing, they have some extremely talented players, but apart from Bravo and Gayle, most of them aren't capable of "long-playing". They just go there, hit a few, then play some stupid shot and get back to the pavillion. And our bowling line up is a bit better than the West Indies. Zaheer has returned now, and he's simply on fire, then Ishant, Vajji, Irfan (if he plays), Yusuf- so many good bowlers. Just that we are leaking too many runs in the death overs and we need to check that. Otherwise our bowling is fine.

West Indies have more batsman than just Gayle. Sarwan, Chanderpaul, Simmons, Fletcher, Bravo, Ramdin

Infact they have got a long batting lineup. So I think the West Indies will win today
