I feel what's best for the situation of the league is we leave Venk now, but depending on everyones opinion we allow Rizzy Pietersen at his original $195,000? This cancels out any potential wrongs that could be associated with Venk as it has then not caused any difference to the auction, however I want peoples opinion on this before going ahead with it.

I think next round the rule that you cannot bid with the intention of losing your budget before 15 players (and I'll judge that if everyone's ok with that ).

If a few (preferably managers only to be honest) could give their views on the above then I will get started on posting the spreadsheet result and I think I'll send people PM's telling people how many of there bids were highest (but not who) otherwise people could be here with 14 players for a long time!

I think I've been fairly vocal about my view in previous pages and I fully support if you decide to give KP to rizzy. Also ask him whether he wanna change his bid for this round? Because increased bid which he gave you for KP must have affected his other bids.

I think there should be no changes in bids they should go as is, now the person who has the highest bid this round needs to win the next round as well to get KP. That's what I will call fair at this point.

You are auctioneer. You must have read everyone's views posted in last 3-4 pages. Now you have to take a decision. It may not be popular and everyone may not like it but your decision will be final and I'll respect that.

Ok then guys, I'm going to give KP to Rizzyx at $195,000. Apologies if anyone is upset by this but I personally think it's the right thing to do.

The spreadsheet for the end of round 5 will be up shortly and I will also PM everyone how many of their bids were highest. Just a note that I will send these to the people who placed the bids and if your reserve sent them and you want a copy themselves please ask me/them .

Edit : Hold up actually, Mazd didn't realise he got Swann last rounds and wants time to talk to his deputy manager about it .

I know SamP has made his decision.

I think we should fix a rule regarding placing bids.

A bid should be seen as an intent to purchase a player. Any bid/purchase of a player should be made with an amount which will not result in being unable to fill the bidders squad.

For example if Manager A has a remaining budget of $100,000 and has 3 players to fill, if he bids on Player Y for $60,000 he will have a budget of $40,000 for the remaining two players which is not possible, hence such a bid should not be accepted.

I think this rule will avoid a lot of controversies. Otherwise it will always be a case of guilty if the bid is won, and not guilty if the bid is not won as is the case with Venk.

Nope. You need to do so in two consecutive rounds.
