despite the quality players they have in the format the west indies still have to be an outside shot since they have very little experience closing out series and cultivating a winning mentality. in a twenty20 tournament you will have one or two bad games where not everything goes to plan.

it'll be the match gayle gets out in the first over that will test them properly. we'll see if pollard can fire when he really needs to or narine can keep it really tight defending a low total. would really like to see them do well though.

They're not official T20I matches or anything, so I think it just comes down to what the two teams playing want to do.

Ah, makes sense, first time I'm really following the warm-up stages of a major tournament.

Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Australia/South Africa will make the semis.

you have to understand that in the super 8, Group E will probably feature IND, PAK, AUS and SA. while Group F will feature SRL, NZL, ENG and WIN.
2 teams each would qualify for Semis. So here is my pick for final 4.
Aus and Pak from E, while SRL and WIN from F.

I don't see this thou. WI are unreliable. don't mine we go the best Player on Paper for T20. I still got doubt in them. but i wish them the best.
I would say Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka in my option got a Chance to be in that Finals. But cant right off none of the Rest of the Teams.

That's the feeling I get when I think West Indies tbh, they're good, but unreliable. They give you the feeling of 'Gayle is everything and without him we're nothing', in a team like theirs that should never be the case.

If they can somehow perform as a unit(imagine that), they'll go far.

You have a lot of high utility T20 players (Gayle, Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith, Sunil Narine, etc) apart from other useful guys like Andre Russell, Rampaul, Samuels, etc. For T20, you have a team to go all the way.

Who's telecasting this World Cup in North America? Willow.tv doesn't seem to be carrying this tournament live. Is it available on Dish Network? On which channel?

Its on ESPN360.com but for that, I need to have a specific package with my local cable network (Time Warner cable). If its on Dish, it would be awesome.
