Tamil Music/Movie Thread

Huh? I expected a reply like this as if you didn't get what I say.
That song didn't have any great music expect the vocal and the clapping sound.

Good enough for me... Simplicity is the key to brilliance. ;)

Neethane En Ponvasantham trailer. Topclass. :thumbs
Excellent for promotion. It is in usual GVM style of narration.

Successful trailer I would say, makes you want to actually watch the movie.

Watched Aayarathil Oruvan, excellent adventure-fantasy film.
Great story and Selvaraghavan tried something new in it. He's a great director.
Wanna watch Pudhupettai, watched all of his films except this.

Yep. Its an excellent trailer and the music gels superbly well with the film. Initially, I didn't like the music at all, but after watching the trailer, I have an idea of how the music fits in and now the music feels so so better to me.

Gautham Menon is a magician. He makes great movies!

^Yep. You would love the music after repeated hearings. The tunes are old fashioned but the music suits the film well. :thumbs

Not too excited about Thaandavam. The recent trailer also looks very dull and non-engaging. I think this could be AL Vijay's first big failure (his Kreedom was critically raved and had average BO returns, Madrasapattinam and Deiva Thirumagal were both critically raved and commercially successful too).

Next month is a big month. Some huge audio releases like Mani Ratnam's Kadal, Vj-ARM-Harris's Thuppaki, and also the movie release of Maatran.

I loved Pudhupettai, up there with my favorites, but it's not for everyone really, do watch it though.

Haha you're right. Watched first half it's 'not for everyone'. Glad I watched it alone. ;)

Will post my thoughts after watching the film completely.
