Vishwaroopam and Kochadaiyaan are my least expected films. Just because it has Kamal and Rajni doesn't mean they are hot. I doubt an animation film like Kochadaiyaan might impress Rajni fans. And Soundarya is a debutant and I am not expecting great things from her first film.
It stars Rajini what else the fans need? It'll be crowd puller when it releases during Diwali, children love animation films, therefore fans will watch with their families.(Almost everyone in TN watch Rajni film during its release either legally or illegal) Kuselan was flop as Pasupathy was the hero.
Kochadaiyaan will be a hit imo. KS Ravikumar is the writer and co-director. Making an animation film with Rajini as lead is a 'plus' factor.
Animation films = children; Rajinikanth = almost all people in TN
People will go watch it in theatres with their families.
Vishwaroopam might be a flop as it's under Kamal's direction, it might not satisfy the TN fans like what he did in "Hey Ram" which had a good overseas collection but a flop in India. By seeing the trailer, the film seems to give a social message and Kamal plays a role with feminine qualities.
Neethane en ponvasantham is another love story by Gautham Menon. Hope it's different from his previous films like Minnale, Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya.
Actually I lost hope in KV Anand because of missing of logic factor in KO. How can a press man change a government by just three incidents? The songs and scenes were shot well. I liked the great twist in the middle. The film was not bad but not good as Ayan too.
Same with Murugadoss, he actually failed in 7aum arivu. The film was slow-paced, poor storyline, it failed to meet with the expectations. I liked it only because of Bodhidharma part. But Thuppaki is a different story, expecting more from him this time.
Mani Ratnam films are always good, even I liked Raavanan. I like his films, I watch it during its release, but his films are not the most I wait for.
I loved Singam, which was Hari's best imo. Thus expecting the sequel to release soon.

According to wikipedia, Kochadaiyaan is a 3d film.
"The film, which is expected to be shot with motion capture in 3D, will have cinematography handled by Rajiv Menon whilst background score and soundtrack will be composed by A. R. Rahman. The film will be dubbed in Telugu as Vikrama Simha. The film is expected to be the first Indian 3D film shot with the kind of performance capturing technology used in films such as Avatar (2009) and The Adventures of Tintin (2011)."
