Billa 2 not so good? At least that's what I'm hearing from all my friends in India, one even called it Asal 2.

Billa-2 was a stylish and glorified TORTURE!!!!! You really would struggle to find a story in the film even if you called up the world's most toughest Interpol. Ajith after a good performance in Mankatha, just sleepwalks through Billa-2 in typical fashion. He is dull, drab and shockingly sluggish in this role.... His bloated physique (don't know why he passes off with such a physique) doesn't help matters too. The heroine, Parvathy Omanakuttan, looks good and might have a good future in the industry, but who cares about heroines in these types of flicks. The director Chakri Toleti takes all the blame along with Ajith. The guy messed up a great film like "A Wednesday" when he remade it as "Unnaipol Oruvan". And here, he goes one step worse.

Billa-2 : Skip worthy! And Ajith's upcoming lineup of films looks pretty sad (except for his next one with Vishnuvardhan).

Going to Billa 2 tomorrow, heard mixed reviews about it. Ajith's next film is directed by Vishnuvardhan and with co-starrer Arya.

Saw Maatraan trailer, don't know how it would be, the teaser looks bad for promotion tbh. (Seems the idea of the film is taken from "Stuck on you")

Actually, "Maatran" teaser whips up more interest in the film. KV Anand has said that he was not inspired by the films mentioned, but on something that he saw on TV about conjoined twins (definitely he didn't see the movie on TV). The idea of conjoined twins certainly looks interesting. And both the Surya's have been given interesting looks (esp. the Surya with long hair).

Now that I think about it, some of the scenes were copied right out of Scarface, for example the scene where they go and sell the heroin.

Saw Billa 2, I liked it as a neutral.
Chakri Toleti wrote the story keeping Ajith fans in mind. Spoiled plot, it lacks pace.
I liked the film because of Ajith's stylish character, Yuvan's bgm and cinematography.
The film remained me of playing Mafia 2.

Yesterday, I saw an interview in which KV Anand told that he wrote the story after reading about Chang and Eng Bunker.

Mugamoodi trailer looks absolutely rubbish. The costume, text, mask are carbon copies of Batman series.

Waiting for the two big audios of the year - Thuppaki and Maatran. Both of them are by Harris, and both of them have top heroes and top directors (Vijay-Surya, AR Murugadoss-KV Anand).

Wow! Great hype about Vishwaroopam here in TN. Hope it satisfy the TN fans as the film is simultaneously made in 3 languages.
