It was a scene by scene complete remake of 3 Idiots. If you are referring to the impact, those who have watched and liked 3 Idiots will always be biased to the original.

I didn't mean the scenes. The actors were extraordinary in the Hindi one.

I expected some sort of professionalism in the movie, which 3 Idiots had, IDK about Nanban, but after all those Dubbing work, Snehitudu looks like a "spoof" of 3 idiots. The hero himself looks like a joker (no offense, but I'm being frank to what I thought after watching Snehitudu), I have not seen any of his movies, but his dubbed voice, and his action are absolutely mismatch! And that silencer guy, with Sunil's (Telugu comedian) voice looks horrible!

Right from the "moothrvisarjan" part with seniors, we all started laughing to sarcastic comments passed by few people in hall!

Yeah, you're right. Nanban is for Tamil audience, not for the guys who watched 3 idiots and the director himself stated that they couldn't find a voice for the silencer.(Satyan has unique funny voice )

Seems like his dubbed voice didn't work well. I cant comment on the telugu version because I believe dubbed movies can completely change the overall feel of the movie that you see in its original language version. Its a Tamil film dubbed in Telugu, so I dont expect it to be great in Telugu. I enjoyed the movie in Tamil, though I loved 3 Idiots. I thought it was a well made remake not destroying the essence of the original.

The songs were awesome in Tamil, better than the Hindi. Dont know about Telugu one.

Shankar delivered his maiden flop in Tolly by dubbing Nanban. It would have been fair, if Shankar would have restricted it only to Tamil because the sadder part is another Telugu movie based on that story (with tweaks in it) was canceled due to Nanban's dubbed version. It was expected to strike the screens with Tolly industry's two top heroes, whose fans always fight (Pavan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu), but Shankar ruined the full scenario with a not even average style Snehitudu.

When it comes to music, I liked few background scores and one song (title song), and there is an extra song too. Liked the inclusion, but not the song.

A flop movie doesn't depend on its quality. It solely depends on its box office performance. People always wrongly associate the word 'flop' with movie quality.

Did anyone listen to the songs of "Oru Kal Oru Kannadi" by Harris Jayaraj? I have been completely into them for the last week. "Adada Oru Devathai" by Karthik, Azhage Azhage" and "Venaam Machan" (folk kuthu song) are really good from the album.

Also watched "Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Epdi". BRILLIANT movie! Great screenplay where a short film has been made for the silver screen format. Those who love the staple old fashioned cinematic screenplay wont enjoy this, but this was a fresh film and innovative.

Me too just watched that movie couple of days ago.It was much comparable with real life.

Yeah,this song "Oru Kal Oru Kannadi" was so sweet to hear.

"OK OK", Santhanam is the real hero in it.
Dance has spoiled the music. Good combination of Udhay and Santhanam.

'3' was superb. First half was so entertaining and second half was bit scattered but good screenplay. Really a nice movie.
