Tamil Music/Movie Thread

Yuvan has been releasing a lot of albums this year.

Aadhalaal Kaadhal Seiveer, Samar and Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal released now. Will check out in uyirvani.

MPMK's director is Vasanth who made Rhythm, Satham Podathey.
AKS is made by Suseenthiran.
Rhythm's album was too good with the five elements. While Samar is made by Theeratha VP's director Thiru with Vishal as hero. Good title(Samar means war). Expecting something new from all the albums.

anndha mottai maadi bit kalakal da. :lol

Shiva Karthikeyan has got a great team to cement his place in Kollywood.:thumbs

Yeah, but I still don't know how I feel about him playing the lead role... Wish he'd jump in to the comedians role fast while there's big openings for him, but hey, it's his life not mine.

So Guys...Awaiting the release of which movie? Viswaroopam or Neethaane En Ponvasantham....

Vishwaroopam.

Totally forgot, saw Minnale the other day for the first time, it was okay, actually felt the songs were better than the film itself.

Minnale was the first film for Gautam Vasudev Menon (GVM).I Loved it :) Maddy n Reemma Sen Rocked in it:thumbs

'Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal' album is very very good. Good work from Yuvan after a long time (coming from someone who is not a big Yuvan fan). Eagerly awaiting this film since I am a big fan of Vasanth's films. Samar songs are average to decent. Love "Azhago Azhagu" song the most. The rest are just passable. Expected from the Thiru-Yuvan combo since their last "Theeradha Vilayatu Pillai" wasn't great shakes too.

I am waiting for "Needhane En Ponvasantham" more than Vishwaroopam. I was not impressed by the trailer of Vishwaroopam. NEP is a Gautham Menon product, and I have always loved his films barring Nadunisi Naigal and Pachai Kili Muthucharam....

Seen about 4 of his films(Minnale, Kaakha Kaakha, Vaaranam Aayiram and Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa) and I've liked every single one of them except VTV, I would've probably liked it if I had got past the fact that Simbhu was in it, but I couldn't and hence didn't like it.

Ofcourse Neethane En Ponvasantham.Just the reasons being Gautam and Samantha.Gautam is someone who can inscribe love in every scene.I have loved all GVM films except Pachai Kili Muthucharam and maybe Nedunisi Nayagan. And yes,Samantha is a sweetheart :)
Viswaroopam trailer looked like Counter Strike PC Game for me.

M.a.s.t.e.r.p.i.e.c.e! Take a bow, Rahman! A vintage 90's Rahman track, and the classiness of a Maniratnam - Rahman combo track is evident!:clap:thumbs Love the humming by Rahman in the middle of the track.... He comes up with such class stuff for Mani always! @MadhavanGovind: You're probably going to love this...:D

Paradesi trailer. Just BRILLIANT! Excellent and masterpiece cinematography. Interesting plot. Bala has taken a serious case i.e; famine. The title justifies the plot, 'paradesi' is one who moves from place to place(nomad). I wouldn't have been surprised if he named it 'Pancha Paradesi'. :p

I didn't like Paradesi's trailer AT ALL. Bala seems to have reverted back to his trademark style of dark/disturbing films. I always watch a Bala film only if the reviews are extraordinary. Apart from Sethu (and some scenes in Pithamagan), never enjoyed Bala's films. I will most likely skip Paradesi.

Absolutely loved the trailer, seriously can't wait. Bala, you're great.

Vishwaroopam audio released. You can check it out in uyirvani. All songs were probably heard before in the trailer itself.

Finally got around to seeing Thupakki, quality film I must say. Liked Vijay and all the cast(especially the Villain), Jayaram deserves a special shout out as well, good work.

Message to Vijay: Continue to act with these well known AND good directors. ;)
