Madrasapattinam was good. However, I won't consider it a great film. It had traces of Lagaan, Titanic and various other films, and I thought the screenplay dragged at quite a few points. The music however was very good and the actors did their job really well.

Pandiya Naadu is an excellent film with gripping screenplay. The story is not new, but the presentation is great. Great songs, D.Imman has done well in bgm too. Best of the Diwali releases.
