TAOC Alpha Pre-Release Thread

Inevitably we'll be running late for the alpha release, so we will definitely give you guys some screens and video as a peace offering

i would like to tell everyone here that we are running late because of my lack of progress.
havent even completed 10% of what i intended to do this week. been flip busy with personal unavoidable crap and really feeling guilty about this entire scenario.

paul has been working on the game like crazy these days and shouldnt be accused of our "infamous" delays..

i take full responsibility for this and hoping to make up for it asap.
hope i havent disappointed too many people.

i can sense many of you going "pfft....we expected this!" or "will this ever be released?" or "are they lying about the alpha?" etc...

all i can do is say how sorry i am to those who were eagerly expecting
the alpha but unfortunately theres nothing i can or could've done about it.

although we'll try as fast as possible to release a small teaser kind of a thing of the nets to show you the work we've done so far.

That's why you should never set release date or even tell people about these things. There are always bound to be delays which will disappoint people. If no one knew, there wouldn't be disappointment.

I'll answer this, absolutely nothing. I'm not the biggest fan of this "game," already.

I respect the devs for their ambition but there's been so many dropped balls, push backs delay etc. that it just doesn't seem worth taking notice of anymore.

Hate me if you want for speaking negatively, but this game won't be what people are expecting, because of lack of time, money and general overall ability to market it to make it better.

On a more positive note, I do like being proven wrong.
