How will it work? Do you get too choose which one in options? Before the match?

The best way I would think is that you get TCP graphics by default and you could select TV graphics in the options or by an addon. Once selected you would most likely get the host countries graphics, like a match at the MCG would get the 9 graphics.
I don't really like the Idea of defaulting to TV graphics, because I find most of them ugly. Although I loved 4's ashes stuff.
Also making it an addon would make updating to new graphics easy.

i mean like when the player walks onto the field and it says his how many runs, avgs, top score and it has a picture of him on the top. i hope it makes sense. ill try to find a picture where it shows that.

yup..there will be stat tracking (as far as i know) and we are currently
working on it

absolutely. Stat tracking is essential. What is the point of playing without stat tracking??

update:

i'm going to be spending the rest of this week (including weekend) fixing little bugs and tying up loose ends, which is not very exciting i know...but once i complete that big list i have of loose ends, i'll be finally getting around to the bowler/fielder/umpires etc. - i really wanted to start those earlier, but the loose ends are mounting up and getting annoying so i gotta nip em in the bud right now and then i can start the next section with a clean slate...

- faces are coming along well too, with submissions from JK, Duded64, and Sid_19840...so far all very good work...may well showcase some this Friday...

So i ask you all to continue to be patient while i work through this backlog of 'boring stuff' and soon enough ill be onto much more exciting stuff - before we know it, TCP will be populated with bowler, fielders, wicky and Umpires....that's when it'll really start to get exciting...
