MVP Baseball 2005

To all involved in development of the game I would suggest if you can please play MVP Baseball 2005, aside from being a fantastic base ball sim, it has some good pointers for a cricket game like its realistic fielding, a trailing radar which shows the ball's location on the field while fielding (which can be turmed on/off), right analog stick diving while fielding. Plus features like right analog stick push and you can lead a runner before the bowler bowled, excellent fielded ball thorwing meter.

I think playing MVP baseball will give you loads of ideas for your cricket game.

Plus I like the implementation of the button click in BLIC while stopping or catching the ball as this can result in missed catches and misfields especially in tight run situations. I mean fielding can be alot of fun.

Plus where can I download the video, maybe we can make a torrent for it?

As The Cricket Project prepares to launch it's new name, the videos were removed and a new set is likely to be released during the week of launch.

The website is in fully working order, it's a temproray software before a more professional looking one is added to the new server in the coming weeks.

I second that. The implementation of semi-manual fielding it BLIC 2005 is cool. Keeps you on your toes even after the ball is bowled. Apart from that, when you are batting, that meter gives you an approximate idea whether you can sqeeze in an extra run or not. It would be nice to have interactive fielding in TCP too.
EA's fielding, on the other hand, sucks! Players like Inzamam-ul-Haq pull off (literally) physically impossible catches and Mohammed Kaif puts down sitters! LOL!! The artificial 'intelligence' is not intelligent at all.
