Day 2 of the Tour Match.
Well, the most anticipated day 2 was about to begin when Jaffer was on 213 and Venugopal Rao was on 113.
The most anticipated day was about to begin.
Both the teams were discussing a lot at Kochi.
India A Captain was the only man to get out for 53.
Hedger interviewed Jaffer. In brief, Jaffer said that he was trying to make a place for himself in the Indian Squad.
The players walked onto the ground, the crowd was bit more after they knew what they missed on Day 1.
The first ball was being bowled by Tillekaratne Dilshan and was punished for a SIX by Venugopal Rao..!!
My goodness..!! That first ball made crowd think that they were going to enjoy some huge shots.
Then he just controlled for three balls and then, again a six..!!
Sanga was astonished..!!
Exactly after 20 minutes after start of play, Venugopal Rao crossed his 150 run mark.
Jaffer only scored 4 runs off those 20 minutes.
Then after first 20 minutes of play, Indian score was 446-1.
Both the batsmen were well struck on crease and in the mean time, Jaffer crossed 250 run mark.
They continued to be in the same form and it was Venugopal, who scored his first List A double century..!!:hpraise
He got that when he punished Herath for a four.

Then continued the game..
Everything was going excellent for Indians.
Even Wasim Jaffer came up to his triple century..!!:hpraise:hpraise
It was Lunch on Day 2 when Indians Came up to 570-1
Really Aggressive knock by Venugopal Rao and Wasim Jaffer.
When the players were at Lunch, some black clouds came up and soon it started raining:doh:doh
The rain continued continued.... The Match was declared abandoned when the pitch was found totally destroyed when the hail stones fell.

The Indians were all set to win this match but the pitch, which was destroyed because of the hail stones, which fell on the sheet covered to protect the pitch.

Venugopal Rao said that it was pretty disappointing as Wasim Jaffer would have turned Quadratical century, breaking some records in the world.

The Sri Lankans were all set to play against India on same venue, but BCCI changed the venue to Kanpur as the weather here was not good on the scheduled match days.

Both the Teams arrive at Kanpur.
Well, the first test match between India and Sri Lanka was shifted from Kochi to Kanpur as the weather reporters said the upcoming days, on which the match was going to take place, was expected to be rainy day and of course, the pitch even got destroyed and so, the match was shifted.

MS Dhoni said that he'll try restricting Sri Lanka to null test wins at India against India.
He even said that bowling attack seems to be bit stronger when Zack was added, Ishant Sharma was doubtful for the first test match as he was feeling bit cold and he was being given ailment for that. Virender Sehwag was given full freedom to hit the ball as he likes as he was the man who can make the difference. A go with great run rate from the first over itself is possible only if Viru strikes.

Sachin Tendulkar said that he was wishing Muralidharan a speedy recovery as it was his last series, for which he needs to play. By saying that, he even remembered his play with Anil Kumble and Sourav Ganguly, who were retired an year ago.

Sri Lankan team believed that Kanpur pitch is an unpredictable pitch.
But Pitch Curator had all this to say

Well, this time, its a hard pitch and will favor batting. The previous test match here was finished in Three days but this time, unless there is a failure of Batting of a team twice, the game will surely be last day nerve holder.

Well,Batting surface hoping for some runs from Sachin Tendulkar. Although as far as i am concern this pitch will favour spin bowlers lets see what happens.

All Comentry staffs left Kochi and now are in Kanpur , they were supposed to leave Kochi with the India A team but they all stayed just to have a beach party ...
