Lazy cricket from Butler again. I know you have to watch out for chopping and changing but you cant just be in a side because of potentially being able to get runs: at a certain point you do have to actually start getting them!
 
Its really bad this it really is, really bad. We have no one who can actually bat consistently in the top six!
 
One word: Chris Woakes.
Those are two words.[DOUBLEPOST=1565881753][/DOUBLEPOST]England have a lot of players who seem to get a little complacent after they get starts. Trevor Bayliss needs to find a way to drill into them that they have to remain focused.
 
And Archer is welcomed to test cricket with some chin music...
 
The problem with the openers is that an Alistair Cook wouldn’t get into the county setup. At an U12 county trial, I could see the frustration in the selectors when a batsman wasn’t playing big T20 shots from the get-go as that is the main format at that age. Selectors are not willing to plan for the future!
