Pakistan's Tour of Sri Lanka

I really like Younis Khan. His record speaks for itself and from what I've heard he's an all round top bloke.

Bits and pieces cricketers? So you don't rate Malik then?

Interesting, just looking at his stats in Test matches which aren't too bad and his last outing was in 2010.

He also doesn't have a central contract with Pakistan.

He is a proven failure. All these guys, Imran Farhat, Sohail Tanvir and Muhammad Hafeez are TTFs.

Really don't want to see this team once Younis, Misbah, Ajmal and Afridi retire. It will be another current gen West Indies on Cricket globe.

Sanga is a remarkable player. I don't know if I calculated this right but so far in 2014 he has a Batting average of 88.6

Afridi is worse than current players :3

What a finish that was, I swear the rain came down just as they got the last run

Woah, a bowler takes 9 wickets in an innings and no one even seems to care about it here. Just plain amazing. Had an Indian bowler did the same, the whole world would have gone bonkers. Here's hoping that Sanga and Mahela construct a huge partnership in their last innings together, that too at their favorite hunting ground.

Herath's fingers must be throbbing, the amount of overs he gets through is unreal.

He is on course for a five wicket haul in the second inns. Admittedly I haven't followed this test, caught up with the one at the Oval but from all reports he got those wickets on a flat pitch!

Sri Lanka take the series 2-0, Mahela Jayawardene goes out in style, well played to him. Fortunate enough to witness this guy playing live on several occasions. hats of to Herath taking 14 wickets in the 2nd match.

Didn't even realize PAK have not won a series since they beat England in 2012. The team has been settled for while, so maybe it has stagnated a bit. In Sarfraz Ahmed, they look to havve their first keeper who can bat & actually take catches since Moin Khan/Rashid Latif ha..

The outcome of Ajmal's suspect action report, is going to be a defining moment for them. Although ICC is cracking down on suspect action bowlers, I hope Ajmal somehow is cleared.

Not sure what to make of SRI. Yea they beat ENG recently, but now that ENG has recovered somewhat to beat IND, it tells me that maybe ENG were in a bad phase during those two tests. Now that Mahela is gone & soon S'Kara in tests, they new generation of batsmen (Chandimal/Thirimane/Priyanjan) really have massive shoes to fill.

I think two tests is too small a period over which to judge a team. Take Ind for instance, if they too had returned home upon the completion of the Lord's test, Ind too would have won the series.[DOUBLEPOST=1408797771][/DOUBLEPOST]Maqsood has done really well along with Fawad to bring Pak back in this chase. They looked done at one point.

I am really surprised at the lack of comments regarding Pakistan's chase. We actually managed to chase a total above 230 for a change.
