You seem to talk about Cameron Bancroft a lot and in a positive light so, you're not Mat Renshaw.... Are you the CEO of the Warriors... ? Or are you both from... There.... That place that begins with F and ends in mantle. Hope he get's. Good long run in the national side as he is a decent player.

I am a big fan of TEST Cricket.
I am talking about mantle ability too give F to bowlers.
BTW thanks for liking my fragrance for Mat Renshaw.

I think I'm beginning to understand were you're coming from. Mat renshaw I feel would have a case to be slightly mithed considering he hasn't done much wrong.

I feel that was the century needed by Cook to save his place. I'm hoping this can be the test match we all need to warrant further interest in the series.[DOUBLEPOST=1514365473][/DOUBLEPOST]
Never finished just a dip in form, it happens.

(You going to answer my AMA questions I posted... Please... ?)

The interest in the series was halved the day Stokes let rip in a pub and the remainder of it after WACA. Great knocks are those that are played under immense stress/in difficult conditions/against quality attacks.

This hundred has come against an attack minus Starc and Cummins (stomach bug), on a flat track with the Ashes over.

I don't believe Cook is done even if he had made ten ducks this tour. He's a fit, strong lad but this knock in my opinion is nothing to rave about.

Although Eng is showing some positive signs, still [HASHTAG]#BringBackKP[/HASHTAG] :p

When you have had nothing to cheer about whatsoever in this tour this is very very very much something to rave about: which I shall do so abundantly......

Well then you lack ambition. I thought Malan's and Bairstow's tons were bigger reasons to cheer.

What a stupid thing to say, utterly stupid, what the feck does that have to do with it? So you think you know anything about me because of an anomynous comment I make on a half arsed forum....pathetic....I actually used to rate your posts....

I'm sorry, I probably didn't communicate well enough. By ambition, I didn't mean to say anything related to your 'personal' life. I meant, as a fan, you're not ambitious enough.

For example, I'll not settle for anything less than a victory in the test series when India tour South Africa in January. That's my ambition. Probably 'wish' would be the right word. I apologise again for my incorrect use of the word. Bare with me, English is not my first language.

Please accept my apologies again. :yes

England's day for sure. The Aussies have looked a bit like England in the first few tests with that collapse of 5 for 13 and looking hapless against England's batsmen. They surely missed Starc for sure with his pace. But still, what a knock by Cook to silence his critics and to put his team in a commanding position. He is a real quality opening batsmen and personally I felt the comments that were said about him were ridiculous, he is a very experienced player and shouldn't retire just yet.

England are in a very commanding position, the Aussies need to get Root and Cook out early in the first hour to put themselves back in the game.

Accepted and done. My reaction was a tad over the top too!

Trust me I have lived with the English (British) for ten years and have been with/married for six and I can tell you they are a great bunch. If they loose they loose with grace but win and they celebrate it. Going to the WACA taught me the British supporters were to be respected and cherished as they put a lot of 'spirit' into matches.[DOUBLEPOST=1514408512][/DOUBLEPOST]

Shall we open another can for the great collapse tomorrow... ?

I don't know where I'm going wrong but I have nothing but love for the Brits. I've had the most enjoyable times watching any sport with them in pubs and bars, even more than my own countrymen. However, I have felt often that their cricket teams have generally lacked the ruthlessness the Aussies possess. Just to sight an example- A winning Aussie team backed Mitch Marsh and dropped a Handscomb who had done reasonably well. On the other hand, England elected to stay with Ali instead of giving someone like Mason Crane a go in a dead rubber. For a lack of a better term, I won't say the English are 'timid' but they lack the flair, imagination and bold nature of the Aussies.

From a personal POV, I've had British and Aussie friends and I'd take a pom any day of the week. It's nothing to do with the Aussies, it's just me who finds the poms more relatable and warm.

I agree with this and I am ali’s biggest supporter. England selectors have always been cautious and more often than not to their detriment

We'll yes, when your first line bowlers aren't firing then you need some experience to back them up.
