Lol...after Ntini? No way. He is definately quicker than Ntini, now you saying plain stupid things.

nope, Ntini, bowls and 87-88mph..Harmison is consistantly faster (not too mention the extra bounce he gets).

'not known to wreck teams apart?'

7-12 in Antigua (might've been a different ground)

Against a Strong WIndies line up that is astonishing.

Its between Akhtar, Lee, and Bond. Anyhow i'll go for Akhtar, purely because of his raw pace and power. (donno when the INDIAN team will have the Real Fast Bowler :hpraise . Some how, MUNAF PATEL (Gujarat) will come up to the ranks and do the trick for us.

It may just be me. No offence to you mate. For what I have seen of Harmison, he is not faster than Ntini. You have a right to disagree being an English fan.

Sureshot, how many of them were bowled or lbw? Akhtar, Lee and Bond use sheer pace to knock over the opponent. And I was merely suggesting that he does not rely too much on his pace. He has definite pace, I am not denying that. But he does not provide those in-swinging or reverse-swinging yorkers, which makes the batsman look foolish altogether. Thats just against the Windies, can he emulate those match-winning performances against the Aussies by Akhtar and Bond?

He is faster than Ntini I can assure you. Look at their speeds instead of assuming.

When is Munaf going to get that chance? He is a real fast talent. But our selectors havent given him a chance!

India just needs 1 good quality FAST bowler in thier bowling line up. Indias lacked that over the years, or shall I say India's never had a fast bowler who can bowl 90 mph delivieres.

India also needs a world class fielder ( a bunch of them ), like jonty rhodes, the only good fielders in the team by far are Yuvraj and kaif, people in India are not that good at fielding, so thats another thing to think about.

Not asking much are you? Kaif and Yuvraj are included in the best fielders all over the world. Kaif is a real treat to watch on the field, much like Collingwood.

In the fast bowling department, why do you guys need 90 mph bowling bowlers? You are better off with the current (except for Agarkar) crop of bowlers.

Well he took 5 for in the ODI vs Australia and took 8 wickets at Lords, he's out of form, Akhtar, Bond and Lee get out of form.
How does form of dismissal effect his pace?

When Harmison is in rythym he will bowl 93 MPH spells.

A fast bowler needs more than pace to be good, Ntini hasn't a slower ball, he doesn't vary pace very often if ever. Never seem Bond so can't comment. Akhtar is good but inconsistent.

How about Flintoff or Jones?

Flintoff is very consistent and Jones has taken 18 at 21 this series. They both can bowl 90+ easily.

I just think having a FAST bowler in the team who can bowl 90mph is a vital clog in the team, as a extra weapen.

Agarkar bowls totel rubbish in the last 10 odi games he has played, is eco is way over 6, and he has'nt got a good strike rate either. Even all of the zim bowlers bowl better then him, and his batting as gone totel rubbish, iI can still remember when he was playing agaisnt the aussies in the test matches and he got 7 ducks in a row IMO agsint them. Even a number 11 batsmen has'nt broken that record yet.

I don't know whats happening with Lee but he doesn't look as threatning. I remember last year when Akhtar was bowling as quick as ever. The Aussie batters were jumping around. Lee hasn't done this to the English too much during the Ashes.

Bonds stats vs Australia are better then Aktars actually.

I do agree though ,he is reletivly new on the scene compared to the other two.

Hello brother!

I am talking about both forms of the game,Shoaib Akhtar was all over Australia this summer in the test series,

You cant I mean you cant put Shane bond ahead of Shoaib akhtar, shane Bond has just started his career and picking up 6 wickets againts Australia doesnt put him ahead of Shoaib Akhtar,

You are New Zealander therefore you are putting bond ahead of Akhtar that being said I dont know any one will agree with you, :happy
