VVS Laxman?? he is the best sleep fielder

I dont think anything is wrong to include Laxman. He has taken some very good catches at slip. Yes, he is a sluggish fielder but at slips, he's wonderful. Even Ramesh was brilliant at slips though he wasnt a very great fielder.

Laxman has a lazy elegence to himself. Just as he makes the most difficult shots look easy, he has taken some amazing catches with great ease (sumthin that M. Waugh has done in his entire career). But there are other times where he has dropped sitters just as he has gotten out bowled or LBW to full-tosses and rank bad balls.

Laxman is so inconsistant in fielding too.

I remember a catch Dravid took,think it was aginst Aus or Pak ,don't remember exactly.
-last batsman was batting,Kumble was bowling..Dravid spat his chweing gum & was looking somewhere behind him even as the bowler started to bowl....but turned suddenly & took the catch....(very fast reflex!)

Comentators were surprised & they showed the replay again & again.

Another catch I remember Dravid took was of M. Waugh in 2001 Chennai Test (3rd match of the series). Dravid was at leg slip and M. Waugh played a sublime flick off Harbhajan only to see Dravid come up with a great reflex catch. The look on M. Waugh's face was worth seeing.

Did You Watch Him in the series in australia where he was taking what you call impossible catches And i don,t agree he is inconsistent i think he has been a great slip fielder .

In opinion it was Azharuddin in the past and VVS Laxman right now.
