Both TATA (Photon+) and Reliance (NetConnect) have advertised 3.1mbps plans through USB dongle. Has anyone had any experience with them, though?

Got my parents to splurge on the Tata Teleservices Power Launcher plan so I can VPN into work while I'm in India for a couple of weeks. It's not a bad deal--8mbps/2mbps with a 50GB limit for Rs. 2222 per month. So far it's giving DL speeds in the range of 4 and 6 mbps, so I suppose it's as good as I can get.

:p

25 GB is too low for me. I need unlimited i.e. 100 MB plan.

Airtel will double the speed of my plan but dont know when.

We can use 4 mbps only for 25 GB but after that we can use the net with 256 kbps for unlimited.I am already using 256 kbps so it is perfect for me.

What you're saying is 1299 per month not 1399. The impatience plans are new.

:p Yeah it comes out to be 1433 eventually after taxes.

Impatience plan has 25 GB limit. I touch 40 GB mark depending on if I work from home or office.

Yep I do.That is almost 15-16 Dvd's (4.7GB each)
